First off, I didn't know there are tons and tons of donut place in this area. We tried this place because it has great reviews and we'll definitely come back here again. We tried the fancy half a dozen and they were all amazing! As a chocolate lover, I enjoyed the chocolate chip donut. My sister in law tried the cinnamon and she said it's on par with cinnabun. I recently read about Hemet Donuts in the Press Enterprise insert where they were voted the 2023 Best Doughnut Shop in the Inland Empire.Sadly,I must admit that I somehow missed this hidden gem.Maybe the regulars would like to keep it to themselves.Ha,ha I stopped in just before closing time at 2:00 P.M. on a Thursday afternoon.I didn't expect them to have a wide selection that late in the afternoon.I was pleasantly surprised that I was still able to buy a dozen.Two different types to taste test. I purchased the coconut glazed,maple cake & one chocolate with walnuts. The cashier was helpful and friendly, plus she even threw in a couple extra donuts because I purchased a dozen donuts. The donuts were not oily or dry.Each doughnut was very moist & tasty even hours later! I inquired as to what the popular purchases were, and she offered recommendations such as their blueberry, banana & maple donut with bacon.They offer donuts, muffins, and breakfast croissants plus a variety of beverages. I will stop in earlier before closing next time to try one of their banana donuts.Hemet Donuts is located in the shopping plaza across from the Hemet Car Wash Depot.Take the afternoon to get your car washed, walk over to Destination Smokehouse for some great BBQ and then back to Hemet Donuts for dessert. There Donuts are always good! So I've been here a few times and the donuts have always been really good. Good variety for most of the morning. As most good donut locations, they sell out of some pretty fast but for the more part always a good selection. Here you'll find the classics like buttermilk bars (old fashioned), apple fritters, glazed raised, long johns (chocolate or maple bars), white cake with sprinkles, the whole nine. However you'll also find gems like the highly recommended peanut and maple covered cinnamon role, the banana donut with walnuts (wayyyy better than it sounds), and more. Yeah don't forget to score a reasonable, ~$1.65, large coffee with a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant for the exceptionally fair $3.50 ( there may have even been ham on this croissant. I devoured my half so quickly I'm lucky to still have fingers to type about it). As I recall, the croissant, a dozen donuts, and a coffee was about $13.50...meaning the dozen donuts was around $8. My favorite donut shop in town! The lady (I believe the owner) that assisted us was super sweet. They have fresh and good tasting donuts! We stopped for a few donuts but ended with a dozen to go. The lady was kind and gave us extra few donut holes for our kiddos which not a lot of donuts shops around here do...we appreciated her kind gesture. As far as the shop goes, it's small cozy place. Can't remember if there's seating as Covid has changed things up for us. I'll have to come back and update you on that. Thank You Hemet Donuts! I was in town for work and needed some breakfast pastries for work, and stopped by based on great Yelp reviews and was so pleasantly greeted by one of the workers. I asked him for a special request of getting my donuts separated bc of COVID and work policies and he was so easy to work with. Even placed them in a box for easy carrying. I'm not sure if this was the owner, but thank you so much for your service. Customer service was A+++ and the donuts and coffee were so good! I will be back here if work brings me back in town. Wow! That says it all! We ordered a breakfast sandwich, a ham & cheese croissant, a jelly filled and a chocolate old fashioned! Yes, all four items just to see which was best! Amazing! They even thru in 3 donut holes! Everything was incredible! The croissants light, flaky and very tasty. The donut holes melt in your mouth! The jelly filled was very tasty, light, fluffy just the right amount of jelly & perfectly glazed! The chocolate old fashioned, in the photo, tasted as perfect as it looked! My favorite!!! The owners are the kindest people I've ever met. They make delicious daily baked donuts and they have some of the best boba smoothies in town. If you're gonna try any of them I suggest the honeydew or the lychee. Be extra nice to the lady that works the front counter! She is the sweetest person on the planet, and always makes me smile when I come in!! Always go here in the morning I love how they open really early n they actually stay open fairly late to be honest ! I am new to the area and wanted to find our new favorite Donut shop. Found this gem and was not disappointed one bit! We have been here a handful of times and each time is great. Not only is the staff/ owners so nice, the donuts and pastries are so yummy. If you go early enough (because they sell out fast) they have the best breakfast croissant sandwiches. They are fresh and the croissant is so flakey and crunchy. My favorite part is that every time we leave, once we get home we find that the owner has added a couple surprise sprinkle donut holes for the kiddos. I know it's a simple gesture, but it's the little things that count and it just shows how thoughtful and kind they are. It puts a smile on my daughters face every time! I love that! The shop is clean and has a couple tables for you to sit if you'd like. We will always come here and always recommend! read more

These doughnuts are so light and airy. Absolutely delicious. Their blueberry doughnuts don't taste like that gross fake blueberry filling that you'd get at other doughnut shops... It actually tastes amazing. Their apple fritters are also always cooked to perfection. It's family owned and the family that owns the shop are as nice as can be.
