This place was great ! I love finding local spots that are not super popular but really good, the donuts were so good and tasted super similar to any big brand like dunkin or krispy kreme. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was the star of the show i didnt expect it at all, they heat the bagel to order so you have to wait a little but its no problem for fresh food at least to me. The inside was clean and had a pretty big seating area if you choose to sit in and eat. The lady that helped me was super nice and respectful. Must try local spot if you live around here read more

I love this donut shop! They are so nice and polite in there. The donuts are fresh and fluffy. They also make smoothies and teas with boba. Although I've never ordered a smoothie or tea, I have had a ham and cheese croissant that was pretty good. They have a deal for a day old donuts. The box is $10 and the fill the entire box up, it's more than a dozen. I counted 17 donuts in my box and they were still fresh. The donuts are kept in the fridge. read more

JANEY NEEDS A REMODEL! It's true the donuts are tasty and hit the spot when it comes to satiating that morning sweet tooth. However, the shop needs to be revamped. There's weird tools, and ramps laying around in the dining area and it's a major eye sore. Also, the tables are a bit outdated and uncomfortable. The shop is really showing its age now and I feel so bad because this place has a great clientele, I think even more people would come if they had a better space. Service is fine, I haven't encountered a rude staff member yet. They're serious but professional. I recommend a maple bar, they do them well here. do you want them to rip you off and give you two jelly donuts that are 250 and tell you that they don't have the raspberry they'll fill themselves and they put one teeny little dollop of raspberry filling and then they tell you they can't put the same amount that's in the lemon because it cost more than you can get into an argument with the woman- That'll talk around in circles and insult you and be rude to you. I love local donut shops almost as much as I love their sweet wares. Having been to Hemet more than I'd like to admit over the last 20 years, I've enjoyed stopping by Janey's way back when the neighboring KMart was still open. Considering they share a corner with a Starbucks, Janey's has held its own over the years. The donuts are fresh, the place is clean, and they are kind to children-- even in those moments of overstimulation and indecisiveness fogging up the front of the glass case. Line a lot of donut shops, Janey's has expanded out into sandwiches and drinks. I haven't dabbled, but I know a good Apple fritter or chocolate old fashioned when I taste one. Give this spot a try next time you pull in with the I tent of buying a cake pop and an overpriced Cinnamon dolce latte at Janey's neighbor. Buy a dozen, and share with friends. Today was very disappointing. We hardly ever purchase doughnuts yet today we decided to treat ourselves. I went in and promptly asked for a cinnamon roll. To my surprise the woman behind the counter says in broken English @ no cinnamon roll, not ever". With a big dumb smile on her face. WRONG. I had purchased lovely cinnamon rolls there in the past yet it was the first time I have ever seen her behind the counter. Then I ask for the square raised chocolate chip doughnut. Again the same " not ever, we don't carry. I call BS! So I ask for a few different doughnuts one being a raised coconut. I get home and the darn thing was smashed! Came into this donut shop being bad, but had to have it. At first I was disappointed because the selection was not very big. The selection they did have were all of my favorites! Chocolate bars? Check! Glazed twists? Check! Filled donuts? Not only check... but I got to pick the raspberry filling while I waited! Apple crumble? Check! They had many more but these are my favorites so I stuck with those. The donuts even though I bought them at night were very fresh and not doughy tasting. Just pure sugar and chocolate delight. I asked about bran muffins but apparently not enough people buy them. Maybe one day I will learn to make my own. If you have not been here yet, you should stop by. The customer service was great and (haha get this) and they sell scratcher tickets.. haha that killed me. So you can will in more than one way. No, for real their donuts are awesome! Great donuts. New employee (non-Asian one) not great. Policy not great. I've been coming to Janey's Donut Hut for awhile now even though I don't live in town. That says a lot. I enjoy their donuts and boba drinks enough that I stop by enough on days that I am in town! But on this recent trip, some new girl helped me. I asked for a couple donuts and a Thai Tea Smoothie. She helped me with friendly small talk. But when I got my order, it was an Iced Thai Tea. When I asked for it to be changed, the new girl automatically told the Asian Lady that normally works there that I said I wanted iced. I know she was lying 'cuz earlier in the convo we were joking about how I only came in 'cuz I'm craving a boba smoothie and now I'm getting donuts too. I don't care that mistakes are made. I care about the dishonesty. And the fact that when I asked for my drink to be changed for a smoothie, they looked at each other like they couldn't do it. I was confused and told them clearly I'll pay extra for it cuz I thought that was the confusion. And the Asian lady said she'd charge me $3. I asked why $3 when the price difference is only a $1. Apparently I'm paying for both drinks. Why?!? This was their mistake! I didn't want that first drink. And do they expect a person to drink both drinks?! Ridiculous policy. Other businesses do not do this. What bothered me too is that the Asian Lady always helped me before. She knew that I always get either the smoothies or the blended coffee drinks. Yet she's still charging me and not correcting a drink that she knows I never get. Now maybe she doesn't remember me? Which makes it all the more reason not to come back. I come by frequently enough that you'd think she'd recognize me. And I've worked retail and customer service before, so I know. I left with my original drink, unsatisfied. And I don't ever feel like coming here again. I'm a regular at a lot of establishments, and clearly this place doesn't treat their regulars well. Doesn't seem to have the customer in mind. Best donuts in town! Excellent buttermilk donuts, and I never would have thought but the buttermilk raisin is so good. So far i have tried the maple bars, granulated sugar, jelly, old fashioned and apple fritters and they are all great. They make donuts all day and stay open till 8 so you don't have to worry about stale donuts after work or them not having your flavor like a lot of donut shops. The dough is always soft! Also, their ice coffees are excellent. Being that they are right next to a Starbucks, I never gave them a try until today and I actually liked the French Vanilla better than Starbucks. Not being much of a donut fan myself, I was inclined to disbelieve all the 5-star reviews for Janey's. Don't. It is a great, spacious, friendly shop, very clean and they have a wonderful selection of smoothies and boba beverages. I especially like the peaches and cream boba. read more

I like the donuts the smoothies can be improved on though I'm not sure if they use icecream, powder ,or pumps because they make them in the way back for instance honeydew and orange cream is a flavor I would like to know what they use.
