I found Dr. Bagheri and made an appointment for the following week. I saw Dr. Bagheri yesterday morning. He did not keep me waiting around, but got me in right away (a huge plus in my book). The entire appointment last about 20 minutes and was virtually painless. He charges $100 for the office visit and another $100 for each biopsy that is required. He only accepts cash (unless your visit is covered by insurance), no checks or credit cards are accepted. The one caveat that I can offer is that Dr. Bagheri is all business. He did not engage in any small talk or even smile, during my visit. If you need a "hand-holder," he may not be the doctor for you. Personally, I don't care about that. I'm looking for competence and efficiency. Dr. Bagheri had both.

What disappointed me most wasn't the initial mistake--errors can happen. It was how the situation was handled. Rather than apologizing for the misinformation or trying to make it right, the gentleman I spoke with argued with me and insisted I must have been communicating with AI rather than an actual person. I am certain I spoke with a person. Our original conversation required human judgment and interaction--far beyond what an AI system could have provided. I said I wanted to see a neurologist as well to do a nerve conduction test, but I wanted to get an MRI first. I don't need a referral to see neurologist I could've done that first without ever seeing this doctor. I called multiple times letting him know that my foot hurts and to please help me with the MRI. It took two weeks for them to tell me that the only way he will order an MRI is if the nerve conduction test warrants an MRI. Are you kidding me I injured soft tissue in the arch of my foot during the sprint challenge and you won't order an MRI to examine it. X-ray showed no injuries because it is a soft tissue issue. What a waste of time. The doctor was not friendly. The patient forms they have you fill out are all focused towards people who are addicted to drugs who don't show up for appointments. I guess he thinks that of all patients. I won't be going back. What a poor standard of care. When I get an MRI if/when it shows an issue I will file a complaint.
