I would give zero if I could. Joe is condescending, egocentric, rude, and unprofessional. Hopefully…read moremy review can save someone else a lot time and headache. After an accident where I crushed my hand, my engagement and wedding rings were damaged and needed to be cut off, I turned to Urbanowicz Jewelers for help in restoring them. Please don't make the same mistake I did! My wedding band had very little damage other than the shank being split where it was cut off of my finger, so no surprise when it was done first. I had to sign some papers and pay my deductible for them to proceed with my engagement ring, and while I was there, they returned my band. In the mix of signing things I didn't pay much attention to my band. When I got home I could barely get it off of my finger. Upon further inspection it was no where near round, and lying flat on the table it wasn't straight. I brought it back to the store and was given several excuses why it was returned in the condition it was, first they said that to straighten it they would run the risk of the diamonds coming loose, then they said to properly repair it they'd need to replace the shank. . these were both explained as possibilities when they did the intake and I said that was fine, just do what it takes (I was paying cash for the band repair and using my insurance for the engagement ring). We then realized that somehow "joining the shank back together" took the ring from a 6.5 to not even a 6.... I was incredibly uneasy at this point and was questioning if I wanted them to continue work on my engagement ring that had a good deal more damage to it than the band. After some coaxing from John and Vanessa (who were both very kind through the entire ordeal), I left the band there for them to take another crack at. I put a call in to my insurance adjuster, only to find out the paper Urbanowicz Jewelers had me sign before work started was for them to be paid. So there wasn't much I could do at this point other than let them complete what they started. My adjuster said that she authorized them to do a full remake but they felt confident that they really only needed to replace a few stones, replace the head, solder the VERY thin shank and reapply the milgrain. Urbanowicz Jewelers called me about a week later to let me know my ring was ready. I went in and gave them a once over and apologized for being emotional over the band and thanked Vanessa for being so kind. As soon as I got in the car I wanted to snap a picture in the natural light to send my hubby, but in the photo the ring looked super wonky. I was thinking maybe my band wasn't lying flush anymore because the new stone faces up a tiny bit larger. When I got home I put them on a flat surface and realize that the head holding the center diamond is cockeyed, the prongs look terrible and are not evenly holding the stone, and the band is totally crooked and twisted on both sides of the center diamond. I sent my adjuster photos asking if this was the best I could hope for and she and her manager were SHOCKED at the poor quality of the work. Their entire team all agreed, without question, that it was no longer the same quality as before the incident. They did not fix the milgrain anywhere on the ring and where they reset the smaller princess cut diamonds what milgrain was there, they crushed when they sloppily folded the channel setting over the stones. My insurance company asked me to go in and ask them to give it another look. Which I did, this is when Joe stepped in and said it looked great, he then commented on my wedding band all but accusing me of lying about the size it was and suggesting that when it was cut off perhaps some of the gold "fell off".... I suggested once more that perhaps they could take a closer look at my engagement ring because my insurance company agreed with me that the quality was not what was expected given the fact that they had authorized a full remake. I was then going to go on to say "I'm not a jeweler, but I respect my insurance companies opinion" however he cut me off at "I'm not a jeweler" to say "no? apparently you're an expert". At this point I happily left the store knowing that his disgusting attitude and ego would mean my insurance company would allow me to take my rings somewhere with a competent goldsmith.

A number of other shops couldn't and wouldn't touch it because of the technology involved. My watch was fixed in about a week and looked terrific too. The folks at the Caste Village store are very knowledgeable and very kind souls that give you the type of service that make you want to come back and I would just like to say "THANK YOU" !!!
