The women at Brooks Diamonds were absolutely incredible. As young professionals (actually not that young - 26 & 30), we seemed to be treated as if we weren't serious about purchasing a ring at other stores. As soon as we walked into Brooks, everyone was very welcoming with me & my now fiancée. They treated us with the utmost respect. They will take their time with you & let you look at plenty of diamonds/bands. Usually when you go to these stores, they will tell you whatever is more expensive looks the best but at Brooks they were straight forward with us which is what we wanted. Stacey was great to work with & responds promptly. Very hassle-free & willing to work with you (I don't even live in Pennsylvania). Lastly, the price & quality of the ring aka two most important things were impeccable. She can't stop looking at her finger. I constantly catch her putting her hand near any source of light just so she can watch the reflection flicker back & forth like a little kid. Approximately three years ago my husband purchased a diamond wedding band for our 30th wedding anniversary. At the same time I had my original engagement ring reset with diamonds (to match the new wedding band). At first I was not happy with the idea that Stacy had for my ring I wanted a channel setting, but she told me that was out of style. I have never really been happy with both of my rings. They are too big and swirl around my finger unless I wear the engagement ring with my old (original) wedding band. So I rarely wear this ring (unless its a special occasion). This past summer one of the diamonds on the wedding band fell out. Ugh, wish I would have fought for that channel setting. read more

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Stacey Brooks at Brooks Diamonds. I live in Los Angeles and was about to purchase an engagement ring in Beverly Hills through a friend of a friend. I had a price in mind but the jewelry store in CA kept trying to upsell and change my ideas of what I wanted. I was in Pittsburgh visiting my mom and she suggested I try the Clark building. I was very lucky to have found Brooks Diamonds. A friend of my mine wrote some notes on the type of ring my girlfriend wanted. The first note was "big ass emerald diamond". She also wanted to incorporate her birthstone in the band. I gave Stacey the note. She didn't try to upsell but instead explained to me the birthstone would make the diamond look cloudy. She then went to work on getting the diamond and putting the ring together. I flew back home to LA a few days later. I received several texts with pictures of diamonds to chose from. No upselling....just options, which I appreciated. Once ring was finished she shipped it to my office on the date I requested. Only downside was the poor service from the post office. They misplaced the box. Thankfully, Stacey was smart enough to package it in a way that didn't look like jewelry. She also helped me dealing with the post office. I finally proposed the day after Thanksgiving and my fiancé loves the ring and thinks I "designed" it. She continues to get compliments on how beautiful the ring is. I will continue to increase the size of the diamond and will only deal with Brooks Diamonds for the upgrades.
