While I didn't find THE gown, I still had to review this adorable place! First, coming from LA, I was so excited to even find a consignment wedding dress shop. Out here, it's very difficult to find places that rent gowns, let alone sell used ones. Had I found one, I was going to ship it to myself or have my mom fly it out in February when she comes out to do pre-wedding stuff. At the price points they offer here, the shipping would have been totally worth it! Second, they don't just sell used gowns! They had a lot with the original price tags on. Their prices on the new gowns were amazing - all marked originally $1000-1200, yet selling here for $300-500! Used gowns were even cheaper! Third, despite being a smaller shop, they had a pretty good variety of sizes and styles. I picked out 4-5 to try on. Last, you get the same experience here as any other bridal shop! You get to waltz out of your dressing room, stand on the pedestal, and take all your pics. The lady working was very helpful and sweet. Thank you, Lovie's! I'm glad to see that Joplin residents have the option of a shop like this when trying to plan a wedding on a budget like I am!
