If you're considering switching to Arthur Family Dental, don't. This dentist personally offended me…read moreand was unable to fill my cavity, even after two visits totaling 1.5 hours. On my first visit, there was some confusion on their end for why I was there so they were not prepared to fill my cavity. Ok, sure, some confusion and delay is fine and not worth getting up in arms over. And while I found the mix-up irritating (especially because I had to go during work hours so I lost an hour of pay) I did find the dentist to be pleasant and helpful. He even called later to assure us the appointment wouldn't cost us anything and apologized for the confusion. We rescheduled for two weeks out. On my second visit, however, the staff was not as friendly. I immediately felt like I was being given the cold shoulder. The dentist was not pleasant and his attitude was off putting. He made a comment about the fact that my mom had called to ask about the cost of the appointment as if that was somehow bad that my mom had called instead of me. He did not really explain what cavity he was/wasn't going to fill (as there was some debate over that) and then told me they didn't have laughing gas for the procedure. Instead of offering an alternative or trying to work with me, he suggested I should get a different dentist and said that my last dentist, who used laughing gas often, "catered to cowards." While he said that didn't mean he was calling me a coward, it really felt like that's what he meant. I wasted 1.5 hours in this dentist office, not to mention time in between appointments, only to not get my cavity filled and now I have to find a new dentist. I lost 1.5 hours worth of pay at work for this guy to belittle me. I really feel personally offended by this experience and would not recommend.
