Bridlingtons Boyes' is a massive store over many floors. They have DIY goods, craft and sewing,…read moreclothes for adults and children. There is an extensive furniture section and a toy area. I love the top floor the best, that is where their gift range is kept with lots of lovely presents. On the top floor there is also a small museum with the history of the shop and the area. There is a little cafe on the top floor as well with spectacular views of the beach and town. They have delicious food, with some unique specials as well as the traditional food. You have to visit the store at Christmas to look at the specially decorated windows and the grotto area. The window will have a display with moving figures and will be beautiful.

This is in the market place part which used to be busier especially when it had an italian food outlet.There is a nice shop with curtains etc. but it is not easy to walk around and I have found some of the staff seem to find customers a nuisance.(not all of them).The stall holders in the market place put on a good display and it is a pity for them there are empty spaces.I think the addition of a toilet block would be a good move. I hope that more shops open up and this place regains its popularity, i know i used to enjoy a visit.

Home Bargains is a bit of an odd shop, sometimes there are really good bargains to be found others…read moretimes it is full of junk! When you walk in it looks like a junk sale, with everything just sat around in boxes for you to look through, there are no real display cabinets. The shop has a bit of a dingy look to it and is very dark and cold. It is always worth popping in to see what they have on offer as there is occasionaly some real bargains to be had. I think one of the best buys I've ever had were some of those wooden flowers that are normal 4 for £1 on market stalls but they were only 10 for 10p!

I must say I have visited this place a fair few times on a weekend visit to Bridlington and highly recommend the breakfast and nice blend of breakfast tea. I personally have the scrambled egg on toast. The prices are good and there are daily specials, such as the soups of the day and a nice selection of sandwiches etc.. everything you would find in a tea room. There is also a little museum on the upper floor for those who like abit of history. Can't forget the garden dining area at back. A first class job has been done by the jeweller. I am absolutely delighted. I went back to The Watch and Clock Hospital as Paul had repaired my Victorian fob watch. He patiently tried to purchase a matching glass face which was broken, and repaired the hands. I decided to have a better clasp fitted to the chain, which the jeweller replaced for me. Again a first class job was done. I would highly recommend this shop for watch and jewellery repairs. The staff are lovely, very knowledgeable, and there is no pressure whatsoever.

Some of the stuff is very nice and some is actually quite reasonably priced but mostly it is over priced or looks to be of very poor quality. At Christmas they do have an ok range of christmas decorations and gifts which are worth looking at. The staff are friendly and helpful it's just an odd place.
