Firstly, although it is classed and called a shopping centre, it is really a street with shops all long both sides. The street itself is quite pretty and keeps the styling of its surrounding areas. It was very clean but there is a lack of seating areas (not that we'd want to sit down as it was raining!). There are still loads of empty units. To be fair, most of them have been let and are just waiting for the tennants to move in, but at the time of writing the selection was ok, nothing special. The main tennant was Debenhams, which is quite a bit smaller that the Hull City Centre branch, but is much nicer and has that 'new' feel to it. Other retailers that are open include Calendar Club (pop up shop), Card Factory, Poundland, The Entertainer, Tresspas, Wilko, Costa and Patisserie Valerie (located within Debenhams). Units let and still to open include PremierInn, Parkway Cinemas, Greggs, Deli No One, Stagefright, Zizzi, Outfit, H&M, Guest & Philips and local clothes shop - Bolo. As you can see from the list, when everything is up and running, there will be quite a good selection. There is plenty of parking thanks to the multistory car park. There are only a few spaces on levels 0, 1 and 2 but get to level 3 and there is plenty more space. Prices are ok, but not really cheap either (especially when you can use one of the free car parks in the town centre), however, it is only £2 all day on a Sunday. The PremierInn will be using the car park which has a fee of £7.50 per night. From the street you can walking to Beverley Town Centre in about 10 minutes, which has a lot of the high street names missing from this development, such as Boots, WHSmith, M&S etc. On he whole, a nice development which, when all the units are open, will have a nice variety of shops and restaurants

When that was sold it relocated to its current premises on Walkergate. It has a good range of furniture of all styles. The quality is consistently high and the prices reasonable. They also have a small number of white goods and some various general electrical items such as hi-fi, televisions and music equipment. They also have a small stock of CD and computer games for recent and not-so-recent gaming consoles.

The first was too big and the second perfect! I still cant believe how good these are and how little paid compared to others places selling similar for nearly double, i parked the car right outside and it was safely guided into the car. I have since been back and bought numerous things such as, pine shelfing unit, quality pine wardrobe, makita cordless drill set, blu-ray movies, a fully reconditioned dyson, a guitar tuner.. i've had no problems with anything, some electronic items have outlasted new items which friends have bought at the same times, i think this is down to the keen eye & experienced testing that is done before the items are accepted for sale. I Recommend a desent bargain!
