As its name suggests, this shop specialises in selling cut-price new books and you can pick up some real bargains here just so long as you are not looking for the latest releases. There is a nice range of childrens' books and an excellent range of cookery books, often in hardback. There is also a modest paperback and hardback fiction range as well as biography and history. Upstairs is a smaller room with various non-fiction titles and a small selection of poetry books.
This is definitely a shop for browsing. It's unlikely to have exactly what you are looking for (although I have been pleasantly surprise on occasions) but I defy you not to find something here worth having.
It's open on Sundays and deservedly busy. read more
