Oh wow, where do I begin?? Yes, even now I am feeling the "Burger Urge" and wish I could order one…read moreof their tasty burgers. I was in Australia for 10 days and found this little gem in the airport before my trip back home. I was particularly excited because I don't care for breakfast food (especially eggs, which really creep me out for some reason...). So when I saw that I could have an amazing burger for breakfast I was instantly happy! I ordered the Donald Trump burger. They did have a Mrs. Clinton burger but it was chicken and didn't seem to be as tasty as the Trump burger. Any who, the Trump burger was pulled beef (like shredded pot roast), cheddar cheese, thick-cut bacon, seasoned french fries, BBQ sauce, garlic truffle aioli and thinly sliced Cornichons. The result? DELICIOUS!!! I paired this magnificent burger with their garlic and herb "chips" - which were also fantastically delicious! Overall, great service and a great meal! The perfect way to say goodbye to Australia :-)

It was both of our first times here and it didn't disappoint. The staff are friendly, we didn't have to wait long for food and the food was delicious and fresh. We both had a caramel popcorn milkshake and that was worth it as well. The place has been set up really well in a trendy way with a graffiti feature wall which took my fancy. It is a nice little local place and was definitely worth a visit. Nundah is just horrendous for street parking that's the only thing.

I recommend perching yourself on the bar stools for the best experience. The burgers here each and every time have been perfect. Flavoursome, tender and drrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooool, omg I may have to stop writing this review or risk drowning in my own saliva. And the wings...oh my ....the WINGS! Since my first visit the customer service experience has definately improved with each visit. The food is so good, like any good relationship, those little flaws like space and acoutics don't bother me so much now, in fact they enhance the whole authentic diner experience. Original Review - I do love the food at Hudson's Corner. If I was just rating on the food alone it would definately get 5 stars. I will definately go back...for the food. Unfortunetly though it is not a place where you can go and enjoy a meal with a friend and have a personal conversation as the tables are cramped in and the acoustics promote a loud and buzzy atmosphere. It is only a small place but when it is at capacity it tends to sound like an old man's public bar. So if you are into good food but not a noisy environment - then do yourself a favour and grab some takeway! The food is amazing, from the slow cooked pork belly, to the specialty wings and the amazing fries and onion rings. Plenty of craft and imported beer option to wash your meal down with! The service is adequate, but not anything special, there is probably a bit of room for improvement. You know that thing, where you sense people just love thier jobs. I wasn't feeling it at Hudson's.

We like to try out new restaurants and cafes and got a Scoopon for breakfast at Brewmasters. After…read moreriding 20 kms to get there on Saturday morning we grabbed a table. We were looking forward to a good breakfast and ordered the Big Breakfast with avocado added and a couple of coffees. When our breakfast arrived it looked good, but as soon as we touched the eggs they were hard and rubbery and our hearts sank. There's not much worse than overcooked poached eggs. Cutting into the eggs, all 4 were hard boiled with an overwhelming smell and taste of vinegar. If the eggs were just hard we would have still eaten them, but all we could taste was vinegar and the whites were rubbery and inedible. The waitress offered to replace them with fried eggs after talking to the cook. She advised that the cook could only make poached eggs with vinegared water and they couldn't guarantee that the same thing wouldn't happen again. We look forward to soft poached eggs with breakfast every Saturday, so we took the chance that if they were cooked properly they wouldn't taste like vinegar...unfortunately that was a very bad mistake. The eggs were replaced with terribly under-cooked poached eggs with raw whites oozing all over the plate. The thin layer of cooked whites on the outside still tasted only like vinegar so we just ate the yolks. The rest of the breakfast was nice, but we left feeling like the cook had no idea how to poach eggs, or had deliberately under cooked the eggs to the point that they were also inedible. Either way, we wouldn't go back.

The joint is unassuming and casual but the service and the food is beyond delightful. Cheery, helpful and kid-friendly. I was thrilled to see a few toddlers already dining there on a Saturday night. Even more thrilled that they were not at all fussed when we asked for a table change away from the cold draft of our original table. The choice of beers (Green Beacon) excited my husband who'd already spied his top two faves in the fridge. We ordered the bacon and blue for him, cheeseburger for me and buffalo wings to share and our companions also ordered the lamb and tatziki burger. We were all extremely happy with our choices. The cheeseburger is always my go to, when trying a new burger joint and this didn't disappoint me. I observed the melted cheese when my waitress brought the dish and I was salivating. The patty was perfectly cooked, the brioche was light and tasty. My taste buds were doing the samba! Joy of joys! The buffalo wings were flavoursome and absolutely divine! I could honestly devour them in one sitting sans the burger. I didn't notice any hot sauce but you didn't need them. It was just the right amount of heat (not overpowering at all). Brew Master's, I'll definitely be back!
