Weird Sisters has clothing, jewelry, nik-naks, antiques (like a typewriter) and more. This very, very old lady kept appearing literally a foot away from my daughter and I as we were trying to shop and would just stare and watch us. Never asked us if she could help us. I was so uncomfortable with her being on top of us, that I told my daughter to put back the $50 sweatshirt I was going to buy her. I mean, I was wearing a $200 North Face Jacket, my $175 Hooka shoes, and $400 coach purse. But this lady treated me as if I walked into her store with a trash bag on. They have a wide selection of men's and women's clothing, hats and some children's goods as well as mugs and magnets and such. Super friendly staff and fair prices. They had a clear section with stuff for up to 18 months and then like small for kids, but that was too big for my two year old and I wasn't going to spend too much time looking if they weren't going to make it easy.

I have since returned multiple times and it is somehow even cuter in person! They have so many unique goodies whether shopping for a gift or yourself: prints and other artwork, stationary, ceramics (including such cute mugs), art supplies (indigenous handmade paints!), bath and body items (Wato soap, yes please!), housewares, treats, adorable accessories and clothing, etc. Many items are local, too! They are always really friendly and nice in the shop, and it's just such a pleasure to wander. I honestly think my mom, sisters, and I nearly spent an hour there. If you can, time it so you can check out the Sunday Astoria Farmers market while there. Parking is not great as it's right in the middle of downtown Astoria, but that's just the nature of the beast, and worth it!

We stopped by the Seaside Factory Outlets because they were right on the way home, nice and convenient! This outlet mall is definitely smaller than others I've seen in Oregon, but it served its purpose for me as I had my eyes set on a few stores, and a few stores only - Carter's, Bath & Body Works, and Nike. What can I say, I'm basic. We ended up not checking out Nike because we had our 2 year old with us and the line was HUGE (due to COVID-19). Bath & Body Works was doing an awesome job of getting everybody in and out, providing waters and hand sanitizer, and even had bags already set up for people to place their future purchases inside to just take straight to the register and get rung up! And of course, we spent $100+ at Carter's. Another pleasant surprise at this outlet is the Wine & Beer Haus. Awesome service, great selection, and you can even enjoy a drink inside at the little countertop bar. Highly recommend going in if you've got the time. All in all, worth stopping by if you're nearby.
