Amazing stone selection! The prices were also okay for what you get. They have some really neat pieces if you have the time to look around. I loved the display near the register with the silver in it. The staff were great and pretty friendly. They helped me find a dragonfly piece for a friend. I would certainly recommend this place to others. The hours are not too late so be sure to get in early. read more

These girls were extremely rude, we were not greeted or given any sort of acknowledgement. I thought they were like to everyone, but other people came in and they were greeted ever so cheerfully. My mom heard one of them say that I had a large bag, so keep an eye on me. Just an FYI, I had plenty of money to spend in there but since you were extremely rude we went elsewhere. This business keeps taking down my review on Google, so I've decided to warn people here as well. Definitely DO NOT recommend for anyone who is queer, a person of color, or anyone that may look "different" from the norm that the people who work at this store are used to. My partner's family just moved to Astoria and we were visiting them this week. My partner and I went into this crystal shop with her younger sibling. We all dress a bit more alternatively and punk-y, my partner and her sibling are also Chicana. After shopping around a little, my partner found a few things and was browsing while her sibling and I were looking at some charms at a different part of the store. This older white lady came up to her sibling and I and asked how we were doing and although we're shy and keep to ourselves, we were nice and thanked her for asking. She lingered around us for a bit and circled us before turning to another employee and LOUDLY asking them "And the cameras are working very well right now, right?" It was so appalling and rude because she was clearly trying to scare us away from stealing which we showed absolutely no sign of doing besides being queer, alternative, and some of us being Chicana. I went up to my partner and told her to put her stuff away because we would not be giving any money to this business. After seeing other reviews on Google of people also being accused of stealing, I'm not surprised. This is a small, coastal town crystal shop and I'm wondering if this strategy of loss prevention is costing them more money than any actual shoplifting is. I will never be returning any time I visit, and my partner's family will not either. read more

Terra Stones is an awesome shop that really captures the artistic and eclectic vibe of Astoria. A great selection of just about everything you could imagine from art work, jewelry, jewelry making supplies, incense, beads, beads, and more beads, home decor, crystals, esoteric goodies, and much more. I have never seen so many unique and beautiful beads in my life. They do jewelry repair and design as well as provide all that you need to create your own works of art. They have some beautiful art for sale from local artists as well. Very well organized and prices to fit all budgets. Sales are held often as well. Staffed by sweet and knowledgeable staff. It says something when we stay for over an hour shopping and chatting. Beth & Anna were like meeting up with old friends from a past life. I love when the cosmos throws people together. This boutique overloads my ADD in a good way, and judging from my mate's first shopping trip here, she will keep them in the red for years to come.Give yourself some time, as there is a lot to see. The store flows really well, is very warm and inviting, and is a place of peace. Check it out and shop local!!! I look forward to meeting the owner Terra and supporting this unique shop. Wow!! LOVE this place. I went in towards closing time so I didn't have a lot of time to be able to shop however what I saw was unbelievably amazing. They literally have everything you could ever want and then some. Customer service was top notch. Both ladies went above and beyond with helping me looking for a perfect necklace.
