Sterling silver morganite ring and two pink tourmaline rings
Savannah L.

We wondered in on a weekend getaway for my husband and I. Ive been on the look out for some nice jewelry and Im a sucker for crystals. When I walked in a younger lady helped us, she was very kind and allowed me to take my time. I was almost overwhelmed. They had a wide selection of different styles for each crystal type. The most common and memorable being tourmaline, amber, peridot, Malachite, and amethyst. I liked the variety in styles and they had some that were big and gaudy some that were more petite and in style. A little something for everyone. The prices were good, got all three rings for $20 each. And a beautiful tourmaline necklace for $70. I felt very pleased and look forward to making future purchases on their Etsy.

This is my new favorite jewelry store and I love that in Oregon there is no sales tax! They have so many options that it can be a little overwhelming but their prices are amazing. The person who helped my mother and I had only been there 6 months but was so knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted to buy matching or at least similar sets based on color and she helped me out with one pink set. Sadly the other stone I loved only had a ring in stock, guess I will just have to go again when I am in Seaside. They also have one in Astoria that I will be stopping by this week!

Sterling jewelry.

Beautiful jewelry delivered quickly. I really like the store in sea side Oregon. I wished I had picked up a few more pieces. Ended up finding them on Etsy. Great online store. My jewelry came with a personal note from the people who packaged it. Lovely in sterling silver.

This is a wonderful shop located in Seaside, Oregon. They have many cases of jewelry, as well as, many other interesting cases of items to peruse. The staff are friendly and patient. I highly recommend visiting this shop.

Beautiful selection of larimar jewelry, stones which are only found in Dominican Republic

I try to hit all three of their locations in Seaside and Astoria when we are visiting the coast.

Every coastal town has the obligatory shop(s) filled with all things beachy - shells, mermaids, sea…read moreturtles, starfish, signs with slogans, lighthouses - but few rise above the level of cheap & tacky. Shorelines NW manages to be a touristy shop while providing a much better customer experience. The store is very large and well lit, the aisles are wide so you can wander and linger without feeling like you are stuck in an elevator with tons of people. Items are organized so if you aren't interested in children's toys you don't even have to walk to that area of the store. Interested in shells? Against the side wall are bins filled with shells of various shapes, types and colors. There is plenty of room to take it all in and make your selections. My grandmother always collected small shells and made jewelry with them so I spent a lot of time in this area and was happy to have the section all to myself! Of course they have the obligatory tie-dye which somehow has become synonymous with the beach, but their offerings were a step above other tie dye sweatshirts I've seen. The light blue & white was particularly nice, subtle, not too in your face. Mermaids and the beach also go hand & hand and at Shoreline, there are Mermaids of every skin tone and hair color so little girls can see themselves. Well done! They have a nice selection of affordable fashion jewelry, some in sterling, and of course many feature shells, sand dollars, flip-flops and other beachy items. Even though I'm not a tourist, I enjoy walking through the shop and looking at all of the offerings, often making a purchase.

What is also unique as far as Cannon Beach galleries go, this shop is not filled with shells, starfish, sunset and beach scenes. How refreshing! Just because we are at the beach, doesn't mean we have homes decorated in an ocean theme. In the jewelry area, you will find lots of unique pairs of earrings and necklaces, many with a vintage touch. Lots of freshwater pearl designs, lots of silver. The last visit I fell in love with the ceramic vessels, so simple, beautiful, and functional with a little pop of color. During Covid they are limiting customers and require masks, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the artists, and happy to provide assistance. At the same time, they allow you to wander and enjoy on your own, which is always my preference. I like to take my time, see if something catches my eye and makes a personal connection, without feeling pressure. I stop in this lovely little gallery every time I'm in Cannon Beach to see what treasure I can find. Since they rotate local artists, it's easy to find something new for myself or a gift for a friend.

TERRIBLE customer service and treatment…read more Right off the bat, the prune faced man working behind the counter did not make us feel welcome, even though we were the only customers in the shop the whole time. After about 45 minutes of shopping, he finally broke his silence when my friend reached out to touch the top corner of the wood and glass display cabinet in order to keep her balance. He BARKED at her, telling her not to touch the (strong-looking oak and glass) display cabinet because it's "NOT very strong," and "that one is especially flimsy." (She was wearing a brace on the outside of her leggings and walking with a cane - OBVIOUSLY she's physically impaired! Would he preferred she fell through the cabinet or fell on the floor?) I asked him about a framed picture hanging on the wall. It was around $100. I asked him if he might come down on the price. He said no. Then I asked if he thought it would travel home well with me laying flat in the back of a truck. He said it would need to be wrapped well. I asked him if he would do that. He said he "might have 1 piece... oh, maybe 2 pieces of paper to wrap around it," then he just stared at me. (What? 1 or 2 pieces of paper! Not even offering cardboard to lay it on.) The other shops in town where we shopped and purchased items were busy. With such horrendous customer service, it's no wonder this place was completely DEAD inside. We bought nothing and will never go back!
