August happens to be my birthday month and wanted to make the whole month interesting and adventurous along with my wife. As part of things that I wanted to do in this month Aug2021, one is to rent and ride a motorcycle hence started my search to see if I can find any BMW 850 GS.My requirement: Rent a BMW 850 GS for a day and experience the ride along with my wife.Started my search and found two options Eagle Riders and riders-share; had to drop the first option coz they do not have any option for delivery. Second option rider-share offers delivery.Riders-share has one owner listing for the motor cycle that am interested in and also they have a delivery option. It's a new platform to me and has no experience in renting the motorcycles from actual owners. Totally new bee here.Got in touch with Owner through riders-share website messaging option trying to figure out the whole process and understanding how it works. Things that I missed to enquiry about is the height of the motorcycle, Cancellation policy.Initial Reservation from 8/28/2021 @ 11:00 am to 8/29/2021 @ 11:00 am; edited reservation from 8/27/2021 @ 5:00 pm to 8/28/2021 @ 5:00 pm; Owner is flexible and able to accommodate the changesBreakdown of the charges... $100.00 Base Price × 1 day$100.00 20% First Ride Discount-$20.00 $10.00 Gear Price × 1 day$10.00 $25.00 Protection(100 deductible) × 1 day$25.00 $9.00 Roadside Assistance × 1 day$9.00 $20.00 Service Fee × 1 day$20.00 $100.00 Security Deposit$100.00 TOTAL:$244.00 Delivery: riders-share charge was $60 ($30 one way), upon checking with owner he agreed to do it at $20 round trip as there is no option to do that within the riders-share website owner said we can do it separately. Gear: owner initial mentioned he don't have one and I didn't want to do it without my wife, later upon our messages owner generously offered that I can use his wife's medium helmet.Delivery Day: Owner has planned it out to deliver at my location and his wife would be picking him up. He came in we formally met in person started checking the motorcycle options and understanding it. Owner mentioned about how height the vehicle is and I wanted to give it a spin before I go head and continue with rental, tried and its little height to me was able to land on my toes but not the complete foot. We continued with the discussion with the understanding... that I will keep thinking about the comfortability of continuing the rental process while owner was explaining the motorcycle options. As the whole idea is to have an experience with my wife, I wanted my wife to try hop on and hop off to see if she can comfortably get on and off the motorcycle. Note: Owner has boxes on both sides, hence she wasn't able to hop on at all and she wasn't comfortable. I didn't want to go on a ride all by myself which is not part of the plan, so I had to request owner if it is ok to cancel and assuring him I would definitely rent his motorcycle in next month or so planning my trip accordingly. Me and owner we both agreed to cancel the trip it would have been helpful if owner would have mentioned about the cancellation policy or option if I can postpone the trip, my impression is that as long as owner and renter is ok it can be cancelled and in this case owner seemed to be ok. In the whole process, owner seemed ok to cancel the trip and as I was new to the riders-share platform when checking on cancellation he mention that he will check once he gets home and asked me also to check the website. My impression that owner is completely ok with cancelling the trip. Was feeling bad and offered if I need to do anything to compensate and mentioned would have allowed other to rent the motorcycle. He seemed ok with that and he didn't have any other inquiries and am the only one. My expectation on cancellation...that I will be charged riders-share service fee $20 and am ready to pay owner the agreed delivery fee $20; total - $40. As per plan owner wife was at my location to pick him up, he told her about the cancel she drove away and later owner left too. Me and my wife stood there till owner left along with the motorcycle feeling bad for our self that we couldn't ride it and for the owner who made all his plans to deliver.Please note at this point neither me nor the owner has check-in into the riders-share website. My impression... that owner and renter both has to check-in for the trip to start. When back to my home and tried to see if I have an option to cancel the trip, I got a Cancel Trip popup "Because your trip has already begun, you cannot cancel at this time. However, if there is a mechanical or safety issue with the motorcycle. Please ask owner to cancel the booking. You will not be charged once they cancel". Shared

Eagle Rider in general is a ripoff... Rates are high, the insurance is a scam. If you don't pay…read morethe extra money for their insurance, (assuming you have your own motorcycle insurance) they want to charge $5000 on your credit card. What vehicle rental does that? Answer, no one. They mislead you into thinking that the bike you pick online is available when it isn't. Then to top it off, they won't refund your money. Pretty crappy for something that Harley-Davidson endorses, especially given that the folks that rent them are people that spend tens of thousands with Harley-Davidson. Save your money and avoid disappointment by steering clear of this place and any other Eagle Rider.

The whole place including the cars are clean . If you going to rent from a place it has to be this one . They're accommodating, we originally went for one car and changed our mind and got two . I could write pages about this place, even my son loves WOW and has bought motorcycles here. First, their people are respectful, polite, courteous And honest. Their new facility is gorgeous! To begin with, there is absolutely no pressure when walking around the store looking at bikes. No one attaches themselves to you like at a traditional dealership. If you have questions, however, there is always someone there to help. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We worked with James Freeman. He is so nice and helpful. His knowledge of the inventory and bikes in general is amazing. He helped me find the perfect bike for me (a 2014 Yamaha V Star). I fell in love with the bike almost immediately. James was patient in trying to get me financed. He was not pushy at all. He also helped me with required information to get new insurance on the bike. Never rushing me and treating me with kindness and respect. The finance manager Sean Helmeczy was just as helpful as everyone else in the dealership. Sean is extremely knowledgeable about all the financial options. He went out of his way to get me the best deal that I could possibly get. I cannot recommend the dealership enough. If you are in the market for a motorcycle, do not go anywhere else. WOW will treat you like a person and not just a customer. Thank you WOW!
