If yours is bad too, apparently it's a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean between South Korea/Japan and Australia. The vibes definitely reminded me of hawaii. They had live music and the decor was very tropical. My husband said it also reminded him of Tahiti. A nice little tropical vacation in the middle of the Mission. 5/5 eggplant - it comes out cold but I enjoyed the smokey flavor with the creamy sauce 3/5 corn chowder - a bit watery and came with crispy pieces on top 5/5 empanada - has collard greens in it, great crunch and flavor. 4/5 crispy pork belly - I really liked the savory beets and how they kept the pork belly less saucey. Not overly crunchy or hard to chew. A handful of pieces were all fat though. 5/5 egg noodle - a very flavorful dish with noodle, tomatoes, ground beef, and mushrooms. A bit pricey for what it is though. Cocktails were refreshing. Service was great, love how it wasn't overly crowded and sitting on the patio on a beautiful sunny day with live music and great cocktails and delicious food with great company was a perfect match. Food, service, and ambiance are everything! Upon arrival, I was already jamming to many of my favorite island reggae hits; they were blasting, and the pretty Guam flag was waving outside their patio fence. I gravitated to that right away, but I did not realize it was not the entrance, haha. FOOD: 9/10 SERVICE: 10/10 and beyond AMBIANCE: 10/10 FOOD: 9/10 We ordered Tinaktak, Brisket, Red Rice, Butter Rolls, and their Tropical Seltzers (non-alcoholic). Everything was very flavorful, yummy, had great portions, and was served hot. My favorite was the Tinaktak (egg noodles in a citrusy coconut broth with fresh veggies). I can honestly eat this on my own, seriously! SERVICE: 10/10 I was still waiting for my friend when I arrived, and they were so nice to seat me right away despite waiting for a bit. My friend and I did not realize they closed at 3 pm, and we did not start eating until 2:30 pm. They let us eat and take our time, even when they were closed. They genuinely let us do our thing, eat peacefully, and catch up. Funny thing is, they actually caught on that we were catching up, which was so funny! We had interactions with 4 different staff members, and each one of them was so kind. As we left, the entire team greeted us goodbye, which was very sweet. AMBIANCE: 10/10 We sat outside on the patio, and I love that they had a big fence to cover the outside commotion and busy street. The twinkle lights and the many plants they had were very cute. I noticed there were barely any dirt or spider webs on their tents, and it was very clean outside. The tables are spaced out so there is space between customers/tables. The inside is just as cute, if not more. I also love the merchandise station they have with Prubechu swag and knick-knacks. I 100% will be coming back soon for sure and will recommend this to many friends, as well as add it to my list of places to go to again.

I had trouble getting in contact with the bakery by phone when trying to make a cake purchase. I…read morewas able to get in contact eventually but by that time their cakes were sold out. The store size is as expected of a small bakery. I think due to its cake output and the demand i would recommend calling earlier than later to reserve a cake, but also hope that they pick up the phone. The guava cake did not have very much guava taste. I'm used to the Zippy kind of guava cake and was hoping to experience something similar. The guava cake at this bakery may be a Guam influenced type so keep your expectations in check.
