I've lived in my apartment…read morefor nine years and had not done a deep cleaning since I moved in, so there was a lot of grime in some spots. But they were up to the challenge. Communication via Yelp was quick and concise, though there was something of a language barrier with the workers who arrived to do the work. Translation app solved that problem. Overall, a good value for the money; would use again!

I didn't realize this is a matching service when I contacted them. I think their business model is…read moreto hire customer service reps from abroad then match you with local small businesses. This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

For a few years, I had a regular house cleaning service come every 3-4 weeks. But then I moved, and…read moremy old cleaner wasn't traveling to the new area. I used Yelp to look at 8-9 different house cleaning providers in the area, read all of the reviews, asked about prices, etc. I found that Ana's Detailed House Cleaning presented as the best option for me: prices were reasonable, ratings and reviews indicated they did good work and had been doing it for quite a few years, and above all else they were very responsive over Yelp's messaging service. While I did see a few 1 and 2-star ratings, after reading those reviews I found most of them to be weird complaints from years and years ago. They're not indicative of current service. The promptness and attentiveness, combined with being intentional about explaining their services and answering questions in a reasonable amount of time, showed to me they were taking their work seriously. I started with a Deep Cleaning, which was just finished today. They did a great job. They caught little issues other house cleaners have ignored (dust under the fridge, for example) and went above and beyond to make the beds in a nice and well-presented manner. They were also friendly to my cats. I'm looking forward to having them come regularly.

They called me directly to confirm the services I requested and made sure everything was properly scheduled ahead of time, which I really appreciated. The cleaning teams have also been professional and efficient. As soon as they arrived, they assessed the home, figured out their plan, and quickly got to work. They were organized and did a thorough job while still completing everything in a timely manner. One thing I especially appreciate is that they don't simply finish and leave. They waited for me at the end so we could do a walkthrough together and make sure I was satisfied with the cleaning. After using them several times, I've found them to be reliable, professional, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Lotus Cleaning Services.

And let me tell you, it is a game changer every time! We honestly do our best to maintain cleanliness throughout the year, but Liliana and her team come in and get into the nooks and crannies that we didn't even know could be cleaned! Especially during the times of year when we let the cleaning slide and the cobwebs and dust bunnies get out of hand quickly, we know we can call on Liliana's team to step in and take care of everything. Every time she comes, we notice the air quality of the house is significantly better after they finish. They go above and beyond for our space. We originally had folks living in the house with scent/chemical sensitivities, and were looking for cleaners that used green/environmentally friendly cleaning products. Every time she finishes, the house feels so clear & clean. It does not smell like any product at all. And we all feel like we can breathe easier. We have no idea how she does it, but it is a big difference. We're so glad we found her. Having her come and reset the space with a deep clean, sets us up for success to maintain the space better. I HIGHLY recommend Liliana and her team. I trust them to take care of our home, they're fantastic!

We overlooked it as the owner would still come with them about every other time and things went well when she was there and the rate was good. However, the last time they were there they left the house and completely left our back door completely wide open and our cat got out. This was a huge oversight, and when I reached out to the owner about it she responded by saying that her husband said we would just leave our back door like that, so it was on us. Unfortunately, we couldn't move forward with using them regardless of how thorough she had been because when her husband was here he wasn't thorough and lost our cat (luckily we found her later that night), and he also didn't even respect us enough to own up to something he did or apologize, so we didn't feel comfortable having him in our home again.

I've had multiple crew members in my home: Karla, Adriana, Adela, and Hazel. Every single one did a fantastic job. I didn't have to ask them to go back over anything and I'm picky. I speak Spanish but I think language is not an issue because they have a strict checklist and I'm certain they would just call the supervisor for help if you're struggling to communicate something.
