I highly recommend heirloom cremation. Everything was handled very professionally. Stephanie was a great communicator along the way and her assistance was outstanding. Thank you! read more

Stephanie Reed sounded so compassionate, UNTIL they received my credit card number, and signed the required authorization forms. Then all communications ceased, as well as their services. They did not make any cemetery arrangements as promised, nor notify the required agencies. I do no recommend this sleazy outfit. read more

Amanda and Shannon were great! I wanted a bit of my aunt's remains and they were able to get me some last minute. They were very professional and very caring. I highly recommend! read more

My brother passed away August 1st, in the middle of the night, and by noon the next day, the Heirloom rep, Markia had already walked me through every step, managed full payment and we felt fully supported in the process ahead. From getting copies of the death certificate, to collecting the ashes, I was kept abreast and informed. Markia made a bad situation of not having any end of life plans, run as smoothly as if we had.... I can't recommend them enough. read more

Heirloom was a wonderful choice during this difficult time. I was a basket chase and did not what to do. I was not expecting my Uncle to pass away. They let me do everything from the internet on my phone so I would not to leave him alone. The took care of the transport, cremation and I dropped off an beautiful Urn. I was worried I had not paid them and they said kindly, don't worry about that right now. Just take of yourself and family and we will contact you a bit later to your information. If you loved one passes, I would not hesitate to use Heirloom Cremation. read more

This was my first time shopping for cremation services and I was very pleased that I selected Heirloom. The staff was extremely friendly and responsive and they really made the process easy for me. They are true professionals and patiently responded to all my inquiries. Mark, Markia, and Henry were so amazing. They truly made the most difficult time in my life somewhat simpler in regard to this process. The flat rate fee is also great. All the other businesses I called had so many add ons for each service provided and it became confusing. I actually thought this was too good to be true but they followed through with everything as promised and it was extremely efficient. Thank you for taking care of my loved one! read more

My Husband Diego on our way to Mexico I called Heirloom to help me They were all wonderful They walked me through the paperwork Markia was kind thoughtful and very patient with me She also arranged for my daughter and I to pick up my husbands ashes in San Diego instead of Fullerton and the gentleman down there was absolutely great also so I would highly recommend this business to anyone any time they are there to help you through a difficult time and I am grateful they did Kristen Austin read more

I would recommend Heirloom Cremation. The process was relatively easy for us to schedule the cremation, and then to schedule to pick up the urn so we could take it to the boat for scattering. They made sure to have it ready by the date we needed. All through the process, they were happy to answer any questions I had. And they were reasonably priced. read more

Great, compassionate, affordable service! When a loved one passes away you need the support and help of reliable people. Heirloom handled my Mom's remains in a dignified and timely manner. I want to especially thank Markia Gupton who helped me through the process. Can't thank her enough! read more

Heirloom was the perfect choice for our family! The only instructions my mother left for her final wishes was that she should be cremated. I looked into various companies in San Diego County, and for services offered versus price, Heirloom seemed the winner. Reviews were positive, and decided to call. Every phone call was handled in a respectful, friendly and caring manner, and all stages were carefully followed up by email. I was kept apprised of all stages of the process. I was very happy with the quality of the wooden urn included in the pricing, too. Heirloom made what could be a very difficult process an easy one, and I highly recommend them when your family needs cremation services. I would definitely use them again. read more

I went with Heirloom Cremation for my mom. I spoke with Markia and she was always very professional patient and courteous. I had many questions and all were answered. Even if I called and left a message I was called back promptly and she put me at ease with how quick she was to get back to me. Very communicative and kept in contact with me every step of the way. They made the process of going through all of this as easy as possible for me and I would recommend to anyone choosing to go with Cremation to use their services. read more

Markia and Renee helped me with my father's passing and throughout the entire experience were extremely compassionate, caring and helpful. Any time I had a question they answered immediately by email or phone. I was able to pick up his ashes directly from the crematory and the representatives there were just as wonderful. Markia told me that she would have his ashes ready and although it took the city a while to file his death she still was able to make sure my dad was ready for his service that was already scheduled. They are true professionals and I will forever be thankful for all their help in what was my darkest hour. read more

Heirloom made the cremation process so easy for my family and I. They answered all my emails and questions quickly and thoroughly. Renee was fantastic! So friendly and professional. The paperwork was easy to access, I was able to do most of it from my phone but I would recommend using a laptop or desktop. Also, the urn that comes with the package is simple and beautiful. During a time of grief, this company went above and beyond to help with the process of caring for the cremation of my aunt. First and foremost they wanted to make sure I was okay...they took the time to really listen to our needs, making sure my family and I had support someone to lean on. I appreciate there was no hidden fees or agenda and trust me I've called around. The process was painless, they were there every step of the way and available any time I had questions. No recordings or shuffling from person to person. I highly and I can't say this enough highly recommend Heirloom. Thank you! read more

It's exactly as advertised, no hidden fees or up charges and Markia was very helpful throughout. However there were 2 things rather upsetting to me. 1. They sent a pic to identify my brother. It was not his face just an up close view of a part, not enough to identify, I had to request another picture. Again nearly impossible to identify. Having been through the cremation process with my parents I was NEVER asked to identify anyone and I found this really upsetting especially because I couldn't tell anything. 2. When I went to pick up the urn it is a very poorly marked suite which had me driving around to the back of the building looking for business names and I realized this was the actual crematorium. Again maybe that's normally where you pick up and I never realized it before with other relatives, but seeing that was very upsetting. I still recommend them but want people to be prepared as I was not. read more

Highly recommend using This company they are kind , thoughtful , efficient and there pricing so reasonable. They made a very difficult time in my life seamless. Very caring and responsible company. read more

My dad recently passed and we used Heirloom. It was unexpected and I choose Heirloom based on the great reviews I read. What a nightmare. Their communication was awful from day 1. I spoke with Renee initially and gave her all of the hospital information to get started. She said she would send over paperwork by email & a link to pay- I never received so I called the next day and left a message. They never called back so I ended up resubmitting through their website. I thought things were finally off to a good start, but then never received any follow ups. I had to reach out for status on if my dad had been picked up and what to expect next. They assured me that he was in their care and to expect more paperwork to finalize the death certificate within a couple days. I had to follow up AGAIN a week later since they never replied to emails or sent me additional info. I then spoke to Renee again and she apologized and assured me that she would be sending over the correct paperwork right away. She even gave me her cell number for a direct line. I didn't receive the email so I texted her the next morning to confirm the email and she said she would resend. Still nothing. At this point, I called and spoke to Markia who said she would resend. I was expecting a prompt resend since they had "sent" it twice in the last 24 hours but it took a full day because they had to redo it with corrections. I am certain they never sent it to begin with since I had received other communication from them. I then had to reach back out to confirm when my dad was scheduled to actually be cremated. They said the end of the week and would be in touch to schedule a pick up. I did not hear back again so had to reach back out the following week to ask what's next. She scheduled me for a Thursday at 11:30. All this was via text and very unprofessional. I asked for an address Wednesday because I realized they never sent any formal confirmation. She texted back a Fullerton address. I was expecting San Diego and Renee mentioned the facility was Convoy area. It was never clear that he had been moved to Orange County. This was very upsetting to have confusion about where my dad was. I immediately called and Markia was flustered and needed to confirm that his remains were actually in SD and explained SD is only an intake center. She then told me the SD guy was going to confirm the pick up she had already "confirmed." The SD office called to confirm that their pick up hours are only 6am to 9am since he is transporting and on the road other hours. Unbelievable business hours. Henry at SD was very kind and apologetic. But the communication and customer service for such a sensitive time was atrocious. It made it so much more difficult and I had no confidence my dad was being taken care of. I have felt sick over this and wished I would have took the first red flag and went somewhere else. read more

Our Hospice coordinator sent us a list of hundreds of local cremation providers with prices from $700 to $3,000. Her advice: "they all do essentially the same thing" especially if you are looking for direct cremation where you retain the ashes. The simplicity of the website led us to select Heirloom and we were extremely pleased with our experience. At a time when we were faced with many decisions, Heirloom was responsive, compassionate and professional - providing service exactly as advertised with no up-selling or delays. read more

Mikala was great. She always answered the phone and answered all my concerns. Great service

Markia was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I only wish the pickup was in a better location. But I guess any pickup for something like this wouldn't be great read more

Definitely not a review I ever thought I'd be leaving. My wife passed after a long battle with leukemia. Called Heirloom and was pleasantly surprised at the pricing. Wound up getting all the services and paperwork done that I would have going with someone that would've charged me three times the amount. I was fortunate enough to deal with a girl name Renee who is not only helpful but held my hand through the entire process. She was there for moral support through the entire process and has even reached out to me to see how I'm doing after I picked up Sweet Holly Lorraine's ashes. It's not often you find a first class operation at a discounted price. Five stars and hats off to Heirloom! read more

I was going through the worst time if my life. I had no clue as to what I was doing and didn't know where to go. I called Heirloom,I had called many many cremation services, I got Markia on the line. She was AMAZING! Through the entire process she held my hand. She was empathetic, warm and caring. She always answered my calls or immediately returned them. It took a while to cremate my husband but that was an issue on the medical side which she completely took care of and told me not to worry. I could go on and on about how wonderful Markia is. I felt like I made a friend. I would definitely recommend Heirloom to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much Markia! read more
