Great little park. Picnic tables, a lot of playground equipment. Huge trees. Next to a library. Limited street parking but seems to be plenty of parking in the library lot. Interactive exhibits for kids. I was impressed how clean it was overall. No dogs allowed in the park. Overall a nice time in the park.

This was my second time coming to this park. The first time was 7 years ago. I remembered liking the park more then. I came with my 3 year old and 13 month old which was nerve wrecking chasing the baby through this park. It doesn't seem like anyone comes to clean it, broken thick branches everywhere, sticks everywhere and I saw some roaches. I do like how it's woodsy and could be a nature trip but I won't be coming back anytime soon. My 13-month- old fell a lot! However, the boys still enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. Also, we came on a Friday early in the morning which i thought the library opened at 10 but apparently this one doesn't open until 1, I had to go to the restroom so bad!!

A great park right next to Spring Branch Memorial Library. It has trees, covered shelters with picnic tables. Kids will love the many different swings and play sets they have available. There is also a cute area for only under 5's. Very clean, quiet and safe from what we can tell.

lots of trees and quite environment

I've only gone once the parking wasn't great but I might go again if a play group wanted to meet there again.

I came here for Sunset Bingo to take advantage of the nice (rare late spring) breeze,…read morewell-maintained greenery, and amazing prizes available. The Michael Jackson playlist serenading us from the Gaspacho's eatery was nostalgic. Even though the Sunset Bingo MC was difficult to hear while seated on the grass, the staff were more than willing to rearrange some tables to accommodate the growing crowd. On my way to the (super clean!) restroom I I saw that they had a reading room, which made me instantly fall in love! They also have an arts & craft station with materials free to use. There were many families with young kids enjoying the water playground areas. The fact that they have family reservations available lets me know that this park is well aware of its draw and appeal. Birthdays? reunions? book a spot! The nearby restaurants and easy parking are major pluses. Levy Park has a packed calendar of events so I'm bound to be back before the summer ends.

This park on Eastside Street is such a wonderful place to have in Houston. It offers plenty of room…read moreand amenities, including a dog park, an activity lawn, promenade, a children's park, pavilion, and an event lawn, plus restaurants nearby. With street parking in the surrounding area and clearly marked parking areas for the park itself, it's a pleasure to visit. As an added safety feature, they've got security that actively make rounds in the park and by the parking areas monitoring. There are plenty of tables at this park as well as areas for play. Stumble upon their games cart with a rotating supply of board games and strategy games to have some fun with friends or the kids, the art cart with some crafty supplies and the reading room which holds some books and magazines to borrow. They take donations too so you can reach out to them if so desired! The park is clean for what it is, and some areas have device charging stations along with free wifi. Their website also has a calendar of events to check out.

3.5 stars Cool place…read moreto hangout, but dang, why the metal slides in Houston? We went on a cloudy, cooler day (high of 81) in March, but the slides were still too hot. There is some shade provide by the canopies but definitely not enough. The bottom of the slides were still hit by the sun, and they're hot enough to burn you. I don't even wana think about in the middle of summer when Houston gets up to 100 degrees. My 2.5 yo enjoyed the playground otherwise. It was just too hot to enjoy all the things. She did really enjoy the water part and the sand. (We brought her swimming shirt and shorts, and she just walked in the sand and water barefoot. Surprisingly the concrete sidewalks didnt feel hot.) I stayed very close to her as she walked around the metal platforms (i could see this as being super dangerous, especially if crowded). The individual family restrooms are on the water side btw. The park side does not have changing tables in the restrooms. We saw some swings nearby, but there was no shade whatsoever (trees, canopies), which is a bummer bc she loves swings. Carousel is closeby. $3/ride or $6 all day. Parking is a bit further. We found free parking near the roundabout (Googlemaps: Parking man (Free parking)). We went around lunch on a Monday so there was a handful of empty spots, however on a weekend, forget about it. I absolutely hate driving down here. We walked through the Japanese Garden (recommend) since it's on the way to the playground.
