I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

Most mobile mechanics only work on semis. We were lucky to find Larry. The parts houses were closed, we ended up having the truck and trailer towed so Larry could work on it the next day. Since my husband would spend the night without access to food or water, Larry and his wife brought my husband some sandwiches and drinks. The next day he quickly repaired my husband's truck, he was back on the road and made his delivery on time. Larry is the one to call if you are in his area and need repairs done. In my experience everyone that works in this facility is honest, fair, they want to help people and they want them to be safe. This is the first and ONLY mechanic shop that I have been to as a woman where I wasn't treated like I was a dunce or less than. The employees here explain things in a way of informing you not persuading you or intimidating you with fear that if you don't complete the job something extraordinarily bad is going to happen. They give you realistic expectations on how much more you can drive until you need to really get it done which helps people that are on a budget. I think the prices are higher on average but the amount of service, attention, and thoroughness you get the price is very fair! I recommend this place to everyone I know especially women because I know how important it is to feel safe with mechanics and not like they are trying to get over on you! They did a complete inspection of my vehicle and emailed me the report, including pictures of the things they found wrong. I had no idea that my brakes were close to being bad, as well. They submitted a claim to my warranty company, but it got denied. That's a story for the review I wrote on that company's page. Luckily, Christian Brothers uses Affirm to allow you to finance your balance due. They walked me through how to sign up for it, and once everything was set, got to work on my car. I am very glad that they provide shuttle service if you live in the area. I took my car in at 7AM, and the work was completed around 4:30PM. I didn't have to sit in their waiting area all that time. I picked up my car and was only gone for about 5 minutes when I received a call from them. There has been some missed communication, and the guys in the shop had not done the alignment I had paid for. They told me to bring my car by any time to get it done. I give them a lot of credit for that phone call. They could have easily pocketed my money without performing the service, but they were honest about it. I stopped by the next morning and they got me right in.

Last repair was A/C - I knew it was a diverter (known) issue and they fixed it quickly and at a very fair price. They have loyal customers who are ALL colors and both sexes. I've met MANY of them while sitting in the waiting room and chatting. Not sure what the intentions of the person writing that review were, but lying to hurt a business for some reason is unethical.
