I couldn't be happier with the whole transactions. I called several places around the Lehigh Valley areas looking for someone to install a windshield for a 1968 Chevy C10. Alot of the responses I've received back were short and cold something like this "We don't do that". Anyway, Dave from Hecktown glass called and asked a few questions. We set up an appointment for him to come out. He came out and assessed the situation. Looked over the truck and noticed a couple things wrong with it (a big gap in the corner, there's gaps between the liner and roof, etc). He patched up all the gaps and had to let it cured for a few days. Tentatively scheduled to come back in a few days Thurs or Friday (weather permitting). Mother Nature wasn't cooperating. I was anxious to get my glass done but I was more nervous about the company because of the bad reviews so I called the office (no answer but I did leave a voicemail). Dave called me back within a few hours (which I was pleasantly surprised-once again because of the bad reviews) and said let's plan on doing it Saturday. With it being a Holidays weekend, I really didn't want to be a nag. I was just happy with the communications. He texted Saturday morning and said he'll be on his way. Got set up, glass installed with me and my son giving him a hand (held the glass in place while he seats the glass)-which my son was thrilled to help since it's going to be his truck. I know this is a long review, but I just want people to know what a great experience I had with the installation of the windshield on my son's 1968 C10. And the price was incredible too!! I was really expecting to pay twice that. My advice is to be patience if someone doesn't pick up the phone right away. Leave a message and they'll get back to you. If I could leave zero stars I would. I filled out their website form for a quote over a week ago. They did get back next day (via email) with an estimate and date they'd be able to come out. And that was that. I never heard back again. 5 calls, 2 voicemails, several emails later and I have yet to get another response. Literally can't even get a human on the phone. Who operates a business like that? So, now I'm a week further behind in getting my window repaired. We needed a new glass shower door that we decided on while doing a bathroom upgrade. We looked at other businesses and decided on Hecktown glass. Everything from the beginning to the ending was great - great service, smooth installation, great job. The serviceman was very professional and showed a lot of respect for my home. We used Hecktown glass for our remodeled bathroom. After two weeks waiting for them to receive the glass and another week to schedule install, the day of install they opened the box finding channel damaged. Took another week for them to receive the part and to install. Went from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. After install, the door leaked. Was not sealed along bottom channel. Phone call and email went unanswered. So I fixed it my self with caulking. Would not recommend from our experience. We will not be using them for our other bathroom remodel. read more

I called a dozen places to see if they could sell me a pane of tinted glasss (9" x 9") for a recessed ceiling light fixture (from the 1960s). I left a message at Hecktown Glass, and Crystal got right back to me. I requested the glass on the phone. They did not ask for my credit card details. They trusted me! The glass was cut and ready for pickup an hour later. I was so relieved, cause if I could not get this pane of glass I would have had to replace the entire fixture, which would have cost a lot more. Sevice was great. Hecktown Glass says online that no job is too small, and they kept their word. The glass is perfect for the light fixture. I am one happy camper. Was referred to them through my auto insurance for a windshield replacement. Should be a pretty easy job. I was willing to go to them but they said no, we'll come to you. Okay, was supposed to have an appt for 2:30 pm Monday. They never showed up. Called them twice and left messages. No answer. This is ridiculous. No one answering the phone at 2:30-3 pm on a Monday? How do you do business? Didn't show up, didn't call, didn't answer their phone. Disgraceful. How do you run a business by not answering the phone and not showing up to do the job?? Now I had to find another company and drive around with a cracked windshield for another week and a half until I can get in with them, due to scheduling conflicts. Thanks for wasting my time. Amazing....multiple phone calls til I received an actual person. Finally reached someone and sent in pictures of damaged window for repair. No email response after two days. Called again and they said estimate completed and they will call right back to review and schedule repair. It is now three days after "we'll call you right back". DO NOT WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. IF THE REPAIR IS THE SAME QUALITY AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! read more

Poor service at best. Took my glass and promised to work on it that day or next day worse case. Never heard back 3 days later so called them...no answer, left a message and no return call. Same thing next day and the day after that so I drove there to see what was up. Guy never got a chance to look at my glass and didn't seem to care. I am so pleased for the replacement windows at my home .I chose your company because a few years ago I wanted storm windows put in.i took the screens to your company and they made me 10 storm windows to put on when I take the summer screens out .Hecktown glass did a wonderful job. So now 8 years later when I broke one window they came and measured the window at the same time they measure a window that the seal was broken. .I got both windows fixed .they came to my house brought the new glass for in the windows. One window couldn't be fixed on at my home so they kindly took it back to the shop fixed it and brought it back within a short time all without any additional charges. Made me very very happy .glad to know some companies still care about their customers.
