Long story short we had to pull out the new shower door because he ruined my shower threshold so we had to replace the threshold. I was given a time frame of 10-12 days. On May 22, the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, my husband and I went on a day trip, not expecting the car to be ready until the following week. I received a call while on our trip that the car was ready to be picked up and explained to the admin that I could not pick it up because I was out of town. We arranged that I would pick it up the next day, Saturday, May 23. They would be closed but they stated they would put the key remote in my console. When I went to get my car the key remote was not in the car (a Volvo who will indicate if the key can be located in the car or not). I did not bring my spare, but it really didn't matter because I needed to get my key anyway. So I went home with my rental car from Enterprise and waited until Tuesday, May 26 (Memorial Day was Monday). When I went to my car the key remote was still missing! Gerber had no idea where it was and then they figured out that they gave it to another client, who had already picked up their car. I eventually received my car later that day and turned in my rental car. Gerber insisted to my insurance company that I picked up my car and returned the rental on Friday May, 22 and Enterprise is charging me over $200 for 4 days when my insurance company should have covered it. Why won't my insurance cover these days? Because the manager at Gerber is lying to them and telling them that I picked up the car on May 22. Now the manager, Jerry, is avoiding my calls, Enterprise says the case is "closed" and must be dealt with through their accounting department and my insurance company keeps "looking into it". A nightmare!

My Jeep came back to me with the new repair and they cleaned the vehicle inside and out. My Jeep was pretty dirty and they really did a nice detail job on it. I hope I don't have to return but if I do need body or glass work I will definitely choose Gerber again.

They never made me feel dumb or like I was wasting their time. Not to mention that they got back to me within five minutes with a quote - which came in $100 cheaper than the more popular, national company. AND they did not charge to come out and fix my vehicle at my house because we were within their service area. They called me first thing the morning they came out to tell me they were on their way, and my mom - who was here to give them the keys - said they handled everything themselves and were kind. Not only did they fix my window, they vacuumed out the glass inside the car! All of this was on one of the coldest days of the year. I will ALWAYS use them for my glass needs - both auto and residential. They act like they want your business and they followed through on everything they promised. THIS is the benefit of choosing a small business.I will recommend them to everyone.
