The woman who answered said she didn't know and would check but they were closing for the day and she would call me the following day to let me know. Closing at 3:40? What a scam to charge people more. Needless to say, they never called me back as she promised. I found the part elsewhere! Never again.

A pallet of tiles and some paints was also available. I didn't have the experience of donating, yet, but the browsing was a decent experience. Alas, the novelty kids bed was gone before I could inquire. The store has a facebook page if you want a head start in your browsing. The staff (or volunteers?) on site were kind. Overall, a good and green experience.

Laminate furniture appears to match prices you could get for new at Target, and it's dinged up here. But building supplies, drawer handles, sinks and other fixtures, and some appliances, as well as windows, doors, etc, are often priced well and can be the best match for someone looking for specific styles to match an older house, for example. I did find a very nice solid oak sofa table to refinish here last time, though, for only $50, so if you're here anyway for the affordable stuff, you might find a stray diamond in the rough.

Easier to navigate, safer for both you AND your truck, and you won't leave looking like you just ran a dirt track race. -The people are helpful, and understand if you're a bit of a newbie. The scale man kindly explained that all of my types of metal will be exchanged for tickets, which you then take to the office to receive payment. The people in the office were nice too, and answered my questions. -FAIR PRICING. I had a little bit of regular ferrous scrap, plus some copper. Walked away with $40, which was quite a bit more than I expected. Feigenbaum would have paid me less than half of that, I assure you. I'm not about to start a scrapping business, but when I come across large amounts of metal, it's going here from now on.
