Our powder room toilet flooded our home causing extensive damage upstairs and to the basement. We had a sewer pipe that needed to be fixed - He knew exactly what the problem was because he was familiar with the original installation as my development was being built - he takes interest in the community especially has a keen interest in the plumbing aspects of his community. He didn't need to charge me an exorbitant amount of money just to assess the problem as two other companies wanted to. He dug a small 6' hole, fixed the problem and reseeded the patch for grass growth. Later I called him to check on my powder room toilet - it wasn't flushing right. He replaced a tube on to the flushing system (took all of 1 second). He noticed that the exposed air conditioning wall stack (exposed until our home is repaired from the flood) had holes in it. He went out to his truck and he patched up the holes with aluminum tape. Above & beyond. It's nice to deal with an upstanding person who takes pride in his profession. He called it a courtesy call.

Excellent Service! We knew our furnace and AC were on their last legs, so obtained quotes from…read morethree local companies to replace them. The quotes were several thousand dollars apart. IT Landes were not only the cheapest, but we also felt the most comfortable with their sales person ("project estimator"), Frank. He was not at all pushy, the pricing was straightforward and well explained. Fast forward 1.5 years, one AC repair and the furnace suddenly died in the middle of winter. Frank was back out the day we called. No surcharge for emergency service, no deposit required, and the new quote was actually a few bucks less than previously. Installation was scheduled for 2 days time, so Frank brought us two portable space heaters to keep us warm in the meantime! The installation team did a great job, (mostly) kept the rest of the house clean, and the finished job looks very tidy and professional. Best of all the new HVAC is quiet, efficient and the house is very comfortable. One note: I wouldn't recommend going with the Carrier-branded thermostat that Landes recommended. It doesn't get good reviews online and there are plenty of other better ones out there. We chose the Ecobee 3, but there is also the Nest and others from Honeywell.

I am hesitant to leave this review but I think its important for people to know. We asked for an…read moreestimate to replace our water heater. Two quotes - one $5719 and the other at $5084. I mean I always expect some mark up for parts and, of course, labor fees but the estimate I received was just greed and price gouging. First, the water heater itself retail cost around $1,000. IT Landes wanted to charge me $2,567. Second, IT Landes quoted the drain pain at $207. The same drain pan at Home Depot is $25! Next, IT Landes wanted $700 for two ball valve pro presses. Same ball valve pro press at Home Depot was $41.90. In addition, IT Landes quoted installing a temporary floodstop at $543. The same item at Walmart is less than $200. Next, they quoted repairing a pipe (which didn't need repaired) for $708. Lastly, and this is the kicker, $99.00 for every half hour that IT Landes was doing the job which likely would have been 3-4 hours long. Thankfully, I called Home Depot installation services who did the job (new water heater and drain pan without all the unnecessary items) for less than $2000. And we still got a 6 year warranty on parts and 10 year warranty on labor with Home Depot. Unless you have money to burn don't use IT Landes. Save your money and go through Home Depot. I attached IT Landes "estimates" for your viewing pleasure.

Donnelly's is one of the top rated plumbing and HVAC specialists in the area. It's a shame to see…read morethe volume of poor reviews for this outstanding company. Most of them are just upset to have to be dealing with household management. I understand, but it's not fair. They replaced our water inlet valves for our washing machine - 10/10 service. It was pricey, but you get what you pay for. They didn't charge us for new hoses. The new valves are fantastic. Huge improvement. We also had them upgrade our entire HVAC. They gave us a VERY competitive price. Knocked an entire grand off for booking the same week. Minor issue after install and they called in someone who had technically just ended their shift. Above and beyond. We joined their protection plan for priority scheduling plus a free AC and furnace inspection annually. Holding off on the free plumbing inspection to do our own due diligence first. You only see Donnelly's trucks around my area for a reason. Outstanding quality. My advice would be to seek more estimates for smaller jobs, but do not hesitate for big/important projects. Clean, respectful, down to earth. Highly recommend!

Initial outlay for a gas valve was $699.75. 2nd repair, a week later for an igniter was $512.70. Third repair for a board and another igniter. The furnace still isn't working and it's been 4 weeks with NO HEAT in the house. We're delayed on all repairs and contractors have to be rescheduled. Horrible communication. No proactive outreach from Donnelly's. "100% Customer Satisfaction. Guaranteed" is only a marketing ploy and absolutely untrue. The techs are awesome, but the company itself is awful.
