While more expensive than drugstore brands, Estina's products are hand-selected by her for the client and her expertise and care is evident. There's more to her studio than just make-up (facials, treatments, reiki) and the space is inviting.

Estina is extremely good at what she does. Every service I have had done there is top notch-…read morewaxing, facials, makeup lesson, and fake tanning. I have gone for regular facials for years, and while I haven't yet stopped the aging process, my skin looks healthier for going to her- less clogged, brighter, more even tone, way fewer breakouts. But what keeps me coming back to E spa really isn't the services. It's Estina. Estina is kind, funny, and above all, non judgmental. So many times with other professionals in the beauty industry, I have been criticized or shamed in order to make a sale. "Your hair needs highlights." "Your nails are too short." "Your eyebrows are too light." "You need to wax your sideburns and your mustache". What? Never, ever has Estina done this. She likely won't even bring up a different service unless you ask. And when you do ask, she speaks to you in a non judgmental, kind, professional way because she knows her products and services and wants to help- not just sell. As long as Estina is in La Crosse I will be a loyal customer.

Halfway through her putting foils in I noticed she was also going over my already blonde and slightly damaged hair (right then and there I should've asked her to rinse me and left). Then she finished foiling my hair an hour and a half into the appt. and stuck me under the dryer (and then I'm pretty sure she forgot about me). I could go on but now my ends are in healthier shape than the mid section of my hair and that should never be the case, I just want to cry.

I know its not a simple task but I was always told they could do it for x-amount of dollars. I came here FOUR TIMES because they kept saying theyd make it right, and not a single time was my hair white. One of those times, the stylist had the audacity to say "aren't you glad it isn't actually white?" As if I didnt specifically ask for it???? If im paying hundreds of dollars for a service, I expect to get the results they claim are possible. I get better results doing this myself at home. Never, ever, EVER, going here again. Absolute shame, because the salon itself was nice. Complete waste of my time.

The trash can they use for their foot spa's liners was overflowing. Their polishes were so messy with polish all over the container. They didn't dispose of old polish but put it back on the shelf. I have been going here since they started there business and I have noticed there customer service…read moreand the quality of the service's in general has severely declined in the past few years and to the point where I actually stopped going and started giving my business elsewhere. Not to mention I had two derma-plating facials where the aesthetician tweezed my eyebrows without my consent and I didn't say anything until the second time because she took nearly half my eyebrows off and I had to get them tattooed on because of it. It was very expensive and could have easily been avoided if they were more selective on some of there hires. Also My poor customer service experiences was not an isolated incident but quite a few visits over a period of time and with multiple staff, including the owner's husband Adam, a receptionist and two aestheticians. I also think they should have a female doing there consultation's because a lot of us have trouble feeling comfortable confiding in a male and I've heard that complaint from quite a few people. I also am not a fan of the new location and it's a major downgrade being that it's near downtown and the parking is awful. Also there new Botox and filler service is insanely overpriced and for someone very new at that service. Word definitely goes around and at nu you weight loss center it is so much more affordable and Mindy has been doing injections for decades.
