This feels a little premature. Five star reviews should really only be doled out after more than one visit, IMO. But I'm gonna do it anyway because this place is too delightful.
Firstly, let's set the scene. Heavens Above is a tearoom in an old/ex church space, with a little graveyard out the front, to boot. Classic.
There's a breakfast menu and a lunch menu, but if you arrive just on the cusp of lunch the kitchen will probably still be kind enough to fry you up some crispy bacon and mushrooms, aka the perfect simple breakfast menu item.
Definitely don't go past the drinks menu either--I couldn't quite fit in the namesake hot chocolate on my first visit but I've thought about it at least twice a week since my visit and I'll be returning soon to hit dat.
Top it all off at Heavens Above with wonderfully sweet service and you've got five stars from me. I can't help myself. Send me back to Heaven. read more
