I have been coming here for years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. At 2:48 PM, I called ahead to ask if there was enough availability for our group of 3 pedicures and 2 manicures. I was specifically told to come between 4:30-5:00 PM and that we would be assisted. However, the gentleman on the phone did not care to take down my name or properly schedule the appointment -- he simply gave us a timeframe and rushed off the phone. When we arrived, we were not accommodated the way we were told we would be. By 5:30 PM they were only just starting the third person, and by 5:49 PM they had finally finished the third person while clearly rushing through the service. During this entire time, barely anyone had even left the salon yet. What made this even more frustrating was watching station #15 take another client while one of the members of our party was still waiting. If there were delays or staffing issues, that should have been communicated honestly from the beginning. I complained THREE separate times about the wait and eventually spoke directly to the gentleman at the front, but he never followed back up with me, apologized, or made any effort to resolve the situation. Instead, both he and the lady at station #10 were constantly on their phones while clients sat waiting. Spending $166 to be treated like this is unacceptable. The ladies who worked on us were Sam and Diamond. Whenever the owner is here, he makes an effort to offer waters/drinks and make clients feel welcomed. Unfortunately, this staff did not provide that same level of hospitality at all. On top of the wait, my own service felt rushed and careless. Just because I got a basic mani/pedi does not mean the service should feel rushed. My technician did not even help me put my shoes back on after the pedicure, which is a basic courtesy many salons provide. To make matters worse, they tried charging an extra $6 for a cracked nail because acrylic was added to one toe -- something that was never communicated beforehand. I truly hope the owner implements a better system moving forward because this was extremely disappointing for a loyal customer who has spent years supporting this business. read more

I have been a loyal customer of this nail salon for years and regularly drive 25 minutes pass several other salons to come here because of the service I've received in the past. Unfortunately, my experience today was extremely disappointing. I requested a regular Signature Pedicure and specifically stated that I did not want gel polish. During the service, I noticed the technician using a nail drying lamp and immediately asked, "That's not gel, is it?" She responded, "No." Because of the language barrier, I repeated myself and clearly motioned with my hand while saying, "No gel." She nodded in agreement. When it was time to pay, I was surprised to find that I had been charged for gel polish. I explained that I had specifically stated multiple times that I did not want gel. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, I was only offered a $5 discount on a service I never requested. I suggested meeting halfway and adjusting the charge more fairly, but that was refused. What disappointed me most was that the owner would not come speak with me directly to address the situation. After years of supporting this business, I expected much better customer service and a willingness to resolve a clear misunderstanding. Absolutely horrible, as shown in the picture of my pedicure, the nail tech cut deep into my nail bed and left my nail slanted and looking awful. He barely shaped the other nails and did a horrible job on the paint. Before letting it dry, I took a picture and showed the manager, after which the tech only repainted my nails. The second time looked just as bad as the first. After wasting my morning the manager only offered $10 off. I will never come here again. The pedicure process was nice, but not effective and my nails NEVER dried. Yep, that's right. A 6:25pm departure home to an expected 10pm bedtime didn't happen. Why? My nails weren't dry. I've been coming here for a few months and decided to give it some time before i left a review. They are extremely busy on the Saturday's and I don't like my service rushed. On a few Saturday, I showed up with no appointment and was told an hour wait for pedicure and SNS. Needless to say I didn't wait. So for this reason, I go on Sunday immediately after church and the wait is much better. Now, I only get SNS on my nails and they have a descent selection of colors. My complaint is the thickness and longevity. In October my SNS lasted one week and I returned one week to the day to show the staff that my nails were cracked as I believe the SNS was applied too thin and that the gloss was already gone. I was offered no kind of discount on the replacement service and rather charged full price again- again one week later. I was frustrated and disappointed. I imagined this must be a fluke and I was mistaken. The replacement set did it again. Now I decided to try this week their gel nails and so far this is giving me much more satisfaction. They have a lot more gel colors than SNS and my shine and nails are standing up great thus far. One thing that keeps me returning is that it is a christian establishment, very clean, nice zen atmosphere and almost always playing some Celine dion or Whitney Houston when I'm in the shop. The pedicures are amazing and worth the money. I've had a few different people wax my eyebrows and no complain there either.
