She responded to my inquiry text right away and a few texts later, I was all booked! Her studio is inside the John of Italy Salon. Parking lot is big and right next to entrance, so that's easy. Inside the space are floor to ceiling windows, so there is a ton of natural light, which definitely helps Hidi give you the best, most flawless application. I asked her for brown/golden smokey glam and she absolutely nailed it. Throughout the appointment she would hand me the mirror to check-in and make sure I was happy with how things were progressing, which was super nice. Each time she handed me the mirror, I was more and more in love with her work. By the end of the appointment, I was literally staring at myself in the mirror in awe and feeling/looking like a million bucks. She also did light styling on my hair and gave me soft, gorgeous waves. Honestly, I walked out of the salon, looking like a movie star. The event was super hot and everyone was sweating, but miraculously my makeup stayed put. Thank God Hidi made sure to lock it all in with several finishing sprays -- that definitely saved me. I will absolutely book with Hidi again and I'm so glad I found her. Now Larry likes a bit of color to wash away the few strands of grey creeping into his flowing mane, and it is tough to find a colorist and stylist who does men's hair, but they hooked me up with a terrific, experienced stylist who did ONLY man-color and she was great. First stripped the old color ( a necessary but often forgotten step), added the proper color, and then a superb cut. Sorry, but this time, you all don't get her name. I'm keeping this one to myself. She has had me removed and banned. . She said she would refund $75.00 if I removed my reviews., I did and now she is threatening me with an attorney and a restraining order because I told my truth. Don't go to this gal. There is several things wrong, all if which I have the right to share my experience. I have also had to reach out to my brother in law who is an attorney. I asked for $100.00 back and she's called me an extortionist. Go see someone else, you'll be glad you did.

I came to Tiffany for a color correction after another stylist left toner on too long. Ironically, my hair looked better before seeing her. I showed clear inspiration photos and explained that I wanted a soft, lived-in brunette with dimension -- nothing stripy or overly warm. What I ended up with was the complete opposite: uneven, stripy, yellow, and dull. It looked nothing like the photos. Tiffany told me the issue was that the toner "oxidized," so I trusted her and went back for her to fix it. Not only did I have to return, but I was charged an additional $150 on top of the $800+ I already paid. Even after the "fix," my hair still looks brassy, uneven, and far from what I asked for. When I reached out requesting at least a partial refund, she refused and told me my hair looked "vibrant" and similar to the inspiration photos -- which is honestly shocking, because it is not even close. On top of the color issues, the haircut was just as disappointing. The initial trim was choppy and uneven, and when she attempted to fix it, she aggressively cut face-framing layers by pulling hair forward from the back and chopping it. Now I'm stuck having to grow it out because it looks so uneven. At this point, I now have to pay another stylist to correct everything for a third time, which is incredibly frustrating after spending nearly $1,000 already. For the prices she charges, I expected a much higher level of skill, professionalism, and accountability. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. First photo is how my hair looks now - including the uneven, choppy cut. The next photos are right after the initial appointment, followed by how it looked after just a few washes. The last photos are the inspiration, which it looks nothing like.
