Through a recommendation of a friend & also seeing her beautiful nails, I had set an appointment with Marriett Peterson, the nail artist, she is not only very sweet & very pretty but she takes great care in listening to me as a client in what I wanted & made helpful suggestions as to what would be beautiful with my ideas...Her techniques are unique she uses products that are from Japan that is not only better for the nails but are long lasting...She mentioned her training & certification was done in Japan & has an understanding of the importance of healthy nails & doing less damage to it. I've been going to Monica Montenegro for about 8 years now and never once have I had an issue with ANYTHING my color always turns out amazing as well as my cut. Sometimes I have gone in with no idea of what kind of cut I want (like today) I can tell her to do what ever with the cut (sometimes I will tell her I want to keep the length) and she will do what she wants and it will turn out amazing. Hair by Alison!!!! She is awesome and a sweetheart! She was easy to make an appointment with and cut my hair exactly the way i wanted it. I really liked her suite also, it was very intimate and professional. you aren't yelling over any one else. It was relaxing, tranquil and quiet. I would highly recommend her. As a male, i usually always forget about setting a appointment for my hair cut, but if you tell her, she will text you and remind you that its time for a haircut. Tried to get a deal using Corrie's deal on Groupon and this is the BS I get back when I try to book an appointment. Good thing I didn't purchase the Groupon first and then have to try to get my money back and/or good thing I didn't just purchase it and go there because she would have butchered my hair for sure knowing she's not making any money. Don't advertise your services on Groupon if you're not willing to give customers a deal and therefore acquire new clients!!!!! read more

Here's an idea for Genna Gaumond at Regency Salon. if you can't take new appointments, put that message on your message machine. After 7 messages over 10 days, I got zero, ZERO return calls. I can't image how anyone runs a business that way. I don't even know if you can't take appointments or not because you are too busy, or, god forbid, you have a sickness in your family, or there is some other issue. But after 10 days, I think not. It is easy enough to change your message machine. And Regency Salon could step in to help ensure a tad bit of customer service and professionalism. So disappointed. I wouldn't use this person or Regency Salon if you paid me the $45 for a hair cut. read more

Ashley Renee is a hair wizard! Every time I come in, she gives me a perfect cut, style, and color. My last stylist gave me the worst dye job and ended up dying my hair orange...thankfully Ashley made my hair look amazing and gave me the exact blonde color I was looking for. I have been getting my hair done by her ever since! Not to mention Ashley is super sweet and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step into her studio. Her behavior was incredibly insulting towards me, I came to get a hair cut and style , it was all about making quick $$$ as fast as possible less than 30 min, wash haircut and blow dry as well as pulling my hair hard with three brushes at the time and scratching my cheeks, maybe cirque de soleil will be suitable. I constantly get compliments on my eyebrows. She is very knowledgeable about all skin types, and has customized a skincare routine for me that keeps my skin feel amazing. Her facials are also amazing. She also is constantly educated on up to date procedures and products on the market, which is super important to me as well. This salon is so relaxing to go to because there is plenty of parking and it is close to the freeway. In addition, it offers clients max. privacy due to each stylist having their own "office/lux work space!" Moreover, my stylist is exceptional! SHANE STEVENSON is an outstanding person--he listens and is very kind about giving a client what they want but uses his genius to recommend what will make your wishes really work! My hair is difficult to cut because of all the "cow licks," but Shane always makes it look great! Also, the color is always perfect. I have had Shane style my hair for approx. 2 years and when he moved salons, I followed him to this new location--he used to be at Savvy--this is a much better location, and I feel very lucky to have Shane taking care of my hair, especially since I have a very public profession (I'm in front of 150 people per week--no kidding)! read more

Genna Gaumond is great! I randomly came across a "Conejo Deals" Men's Haircut special she was running, so I bought it having no idea what the salon was like or Genna at all. I have been pleasantly surprised with how great she styles hair, how professional she is, how clean her space is and how comfortable she makes you feel. I'm not the salon type but I love going here and hanging out. I've used two of my haircut deals so far and have one to go, Genna is so good that I've become a salon guy now! I won't go anywhere else. Genna is great, here's one example of why. She went out of town on vacation and actually called me when she got back into town to schedule my next appointment, WHO DOES THAT? I used a Groupon to meet with Chelsea Pratt for my first appointment. I just can't say enough good things about Chelsea. Not only is she a lovely person but my hair looks great. I had a low light / high light and was going to have my long hair cut to my shoulders, but when she finished with the color and conditioning, I fell in love with my hair again. My hair looks 10 years younger ! I recommend Chelsea Pratt to anyone and everyone and I will be back in a few months when I need color. I can't say enough about her, she is lovely inside and out.
