I had the half shrimp half pork loaded noodle bowl on my first trip and the chicken salad appetizer on the second. Both excellent dishes made with love. I feel it. Service had a unique presence and they were all very attentive and kind. Grateful for their amazing contribution to our community.

Since this was a destination wedding with guests traveling from all over the country, we knew we wanted the food to feel like part of the experience--not just a meal, but a memory. That's exactly what Mechelle helped us create. She worked closely with us to design a menu that felt true to us and gave our guests a taste of the Zion area. Her passion for what she does comes through in every bite and every conversation. This wasn't just catering--it was heart. Our experience with Ala Chelle went far beyond the wedding day. The night before, we had beautiful, personalized charcuterie cups for our rehearsal celebration, and then hosted a fun and flavorful fiesta-style welcome party complete with a taco bar that guests raved about. On the wedding day itself, the dinner was phenomenal--Soy Glazed Beef Tips, chicken, and perfectly curated sides. So many guests came up to tell us how impressed they were with the food. Her team was also absolutely top-notch. When a huge gust of wind swept through our outdoor venue right as dinner was being served, they handled it with total grace and professionalism--calmly adjusting, ensuring every guest was taken care of, and never letting the chaos interrupt the joy of the night. Once the wind settled, everyone was enjoying their meals and couldn't stop talking about how good everything tasted. If you're looking for someone who puts care into every detail, treats your event like it's her own, and delivers incredible food with heart and hospitality--look no further than Ala Chelle Catering. We are so grateful for Mechelle and her team for being such a beautiful part of our wedding weekend

From nachos with impossible meat and vegan cheese to the six different salads I requested, Mechelle made all my dreams come true! And don't worry meat eaters, the chicken was so popular that people were scouring the fridge the next day hoping for leftovers. I am so grateful to Mechelle for making every part of my wedding weekend special and for finally putting to rest the idea that wedding food is destined to be mediocre (people are still talking about how delicious it was)! Beyond the great food and amazing customer service, the prices were extremely fair and her staff was exceptionally friendly. I would hire her for all my future events if I could!

There are three levels in the home with LOTS of stairs inside and outside. No elevator and little help with suitcases. Most members of our group are in their 70's with some in their 80's. They chose this location because it is within walking distance to the plays on campus and several restaurants. There is street parking in front and a large parking lot with a garden in the back. Each room has a "theme" that is over decorated. We had to move objects and furniture to have space to move around. We were nervous about breaking things. So dusty!! Many of us got sick. Their breakfast usually included fresh fruit, a cooked egg item (quiche or casserole), sausage or bacon, juices, toast, sweet roll or bread, etc. Inside they have one large, one medium, and one small table. There are several tables outside on the front porch. Our room had garbage baskets emptied and towels replaced almost every day. The owners are around only until 5:00. The basement level has four private bedrooms/bathrooms with a common area (kitchen/table/couches) and easy access to the parking lot. The middle level requires steep stairs to three or four private bedrooms/bathrooms and a galley kitchen. The upstairs level with yet more steep stairs to access has a large suite with two large beds and one single bed in one room. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower then a jetted tub in the middle of the main room! Awkward. I prefer to rent a large home just for our group or to stay in six or more hotel rooms instead of sharing space with ten strangers.

Every detail in the home as well as the barn is so well thought and making this establishment even more unique than it already is. Would HIGHLY recommend this estate, definitely worth it the price. When I arrived, there was self check in, but I could not for the life of me, find my cabin. They are not as well marked as they should be on the outside. I drove at least 3x around the property before going inside. The one person receptionist was on the phone and didn't address me for about 10 min as someone was complaining on the phone about a prior visit. I just really wanted to get to my room, so interjected and asked for a map. The room Itself was cute. Two stories, kitchen with items needed to enjoy your stay, cozy bed, wood burning fireplace, bath. The TV volume was stuck on one volume and so we could not use the TV. The walls are paper thin. We were playing cards at 10:30 pm one night with me and my 6 year old, no tv, nothing and pretty quiet and someone next to us started banging on the wall to be quiet. Another night, the people on the opposite wall had at least 6-7 people partying all night. I mean it is what it is. But don't expect quiet. These cabins are wall to wall and that was a huge turn off for me. Another night the same lady I presume that was banging on the wall the first night actually came to my door and told me she needed to wake up super early and could hear us talking. I was nice about it, but wtf I paid for a room and want to be able to do what I want Including talking. Not partying, having a ton of people over, blasting music, etc. Just talking! I don't know how the resort would fix this except insulation or sound machines in each bedroom. The outside area has a cute play area, some fire pits and a cute play room with some games my son enjoyed. The pool and spa was completely closed for "cleaning" which was a let down. We did eat at the restaurant twice and the same receptionist I saw at check in was our waitress. She ended up being very nice. The food was not horrible and there is not much around. On checkout, the room automatically locks right at 11am. I had been loading my car and had almost everything loaded. My son shut the door and we got locked out. I had my phone and car keys in the room. The front desk was not open so we had to walk around the property and found a cleaning person to let us in. Frustrating.

The view of the meadow from the great room was just like a Christmas card ! During the day we were able to rent a snowmobile complete with a guide who showed us around the Duck Creek Village area.
