Located amidst Cedar City, was easy to access bunch of eateries and motel had good choice free breakfast, wifi and parking.

The hotel is centrally located. Parking is a little unusual as it is behind the hotel but was fine. The rooms are spacious and very nicely appointed. The breakfast area is large with ample seating and the food choices for breakfast were great. Staff could not have been better, very welcoming and friendly. We have already booked a room for our trip home. read more

This is a pretty terrible example of a Hampton Inn, for several reasons. Staff refused to give us adjoining rooms even though they were available. So much for the "100% satisfaction guaranteed" stickers they have all over the front desk! It took us 10 minutes to even find someone to check us in. We contacted Hilton and they advised it was the location that had the authority to allow connected rooms. The person was simply unwilling to help for some reason. The two rooms we did get were dingy and smelled like week old food. We had to request a room change. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. The televisions are from the early 2000s. The pool is not well maintained and looked pretty dirty. This is by far the lowest rated Hampton Inn in this area - and there are definitely real reasons why! This is not anywhere near Hilton quality of other Hampton Inn locations by a wide margin. Avoid if you can! This is a terrible location. This place should be a Motel 6, not a Hilton! read more

All levels of this Hampton had misinformation. They are remodeling which is severely needed. I have been told many times that you should be thank for being Silver, Gold, etc.. member. You should also be given water, treats, etc. The young lady that checked me in was pleasant. She did not thank me for being a Silver Member. I asked for water, she said that's only for Gold and above. I show her on the app, Silver does get water. She told me Management told her no. When I went to check out there was two young ladies at the counter. One chewing on her fingers, and the other had the personality of day old bread, kind of stale. I don't get it some Hampton's are off the charts and others are terrible. I just started staying at the Hampton's again and almost a Gold Member. My be going back to Marriot again, they seem to be more consistent. Would I stay at Cedar City, doubt it. You can see their write up on Yelp is not to good. read more

First we couldn't sleep because of a dog in the room next to us was barking a ton. Then the toilet paper was almost out when we got there and had to ask for more. Then we got a bagel that had mold on it. It was packaged on 8/30 and we were there 11/28. read more

For what we needed, this hotel was just fine. The room was small and cozy, but it was clean. I spent some time in the gym on the treadmill and that entire room could use a good cleaning. There was a thin layer of dust on the TV and TV stand that definitely showed how long it's gone without attention. Breakfast is ok-your standard free fare. Like most hotels in southern Utah, there was a nice elderly woman attending and keeping things stocked. read more

This hotel has completely been run into the ground the last couple of years and I now refuse to stay here after another pass through stay here. Hotel was empty, elevators did not work and staff put me in top floor end of the hallway. The furthest point to walk from the lobby up the stairs since no elevator use. When I say there was only 4 cars in the entire parking lot, it's not by exaggeration and why not just keep everyone on first floor to avoid unnecessary climb up the stairs. The staff here at least from check in and check out takes for ever to process and you can't use the app to check in or check out or use a digital key here. Interior is completely falling apart. Shower / bath was cracked and leaking every where and carpet was in horrible condition. Definitely not worth staying here unless they revamped and renovate across the board. read more

Outside is appealing but the rooms are very old with worn carpets and ugly showers. The mismatched furniture looks like someone was cutting corners. Definitely not the "flagship" of the Hilton or Hampton Inn brand names, but still better than most other options. Located in Cedar City, I chose this property due to pricing. The Hilton brands 35 minutes away in St. George were over 2x the price. The room was a little dated and very small. It was just me traveling so a small room with a queen bed wasn't too big of an issue. No fridge was kind of a bummer, though. Room was clean with the exception of a little "stuff" growing on the ceiling near the shower. I stayed on the first floor and, since I know they allow pets, the folks above me must have had a heard of cattle. It was NOISY. Very thin construction and you can hear the televisions in adjacent rooms through the walls. Woof. Breakfast was a mess. 8:45am on a Saturday and it was wiped out. There were cheese omelets and two empty pans..... you had 4 apples to choose from and exactly 3 muffins. Oh, and waffles. That's it. I don't expect Five Star dining but I do like some options to keep me from having to go buy breakfast. Was it good? Yes. Was it bad? In some aspects. Would I stay there again? Very nice hotel to stop in at stay at. I arrived on Thursday, January 5, 2023. I was greeted so kindly by Shayla. She assisted me so nicely. I was given my room and she tried to make sure my request would be handled being that it was close to her departure time. She was so fun to talk to and be greeted by. Then the front desk was taken over by Kal/Cal she was awesome as well she made sure I got my fridge and microwave brought to my room ASAP. And the people who arrived much later than me also got their request fulfilled with fridge and microwave. The wrestling team was able to swim in the indoor pool. They was able to use the gym to shed some weight. This location is walking distance to restaurants, Walmart, gas station and many eateries. Very beautiful views from the room as well. read more

Over night employees don't know what the hell they are doing. The stupid lady charge my debit card and my work CLC card to pay for a one night there, double charge. don't ever stay at this place. They don't know what the fuck they're doing. And when I tell them about it, they said my card was never charged, but I can see it on my bank and they just keep arguing with me saying no it hasn't got charged and I can clearly see it on my account that it has been charged. read more

Great service. They acknowledged diamond status when we checked in. We were in town to ski so the room was exactly what we needed it to be - just a place to crash and shower. Deanna checked us in at the front and was lovely. The breakfast in the morning by far exceeded my expectations. I've been in a lot of hotels and had a lot of hotel breakfast and this is definitely one of the better ones. Clean comfortable and friendly staff. The check in woman lacked basic customer service, like saying "hello" and simple things like that. A typical Gen Z. The hotel room was fine except the walls are paper thin and we could hear every little noise above, below, and beside you. Also, the key cards constantly demagnetize because of the crazy amount of static electricity in the place. Every time, and I mean every time, you touch something metal, you get shocked. Disgusting. The room layout was nice and the location was central to where we needed to be, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. First, we walked in the front door of our room and before I could even put my bags down, our 2 year old son picked up a plastic harmonica off the floor and blew on it This is in the middle of an "epidemic", the hotel placed a sticker across the door touting how sterile and clean the room was. Nope! Just fake BS. They couldn't have cleaned much at all if they missed a harmonica sitting on the floor. Then, the bed sheets had blood on them. Not one sheet but 2 separate sheets had blood on them. Granted, the blood appeared to have been washed but who in the hell puts sheets on a bed when the blood is clearly still visible. There is absolutely NO WAY that someone could have made that and not seen the blood. They flat out did not care. The hotel had Lysol stickers/ posters all over talking about the cleanliness of the hotel. They are all a smoke show. This place is gross. Don't waste your money! read more

I'm not sure if Hampton realizes how all their hotels are in such disrepair and unclean their hotels have gotten to be. The surface of these hotels are clean but if you really look they are dirty. The room I am staying tonight the bathroom sink doesn't drain. My husband had to remove the stopper to drain the sink. The shower head needs to be replaced. Why because the water directly hits the wall not the person. The curtain has urine stains from someone's pet. I'm not just complaining just FYI. read more

Was very disappointed in our stay here. To start off the room door was extremely hard to open as it would stick so you had to put your body into it to get the door to open. The bath tub would not drain, the tub itself was peeling and had stains. Chair cushions had rips and the bathroom tiles were broken, missing and looked moldy. The only good thing about our stay was that we were put on the 1st floor because we have our dog so it was easy access outside but every time someone would go out that door it would slam shut and it was extremely loud. Not to mention the people above us sounded like they were dropping bowling balls on the floor when they would walk so good luck trying to get decent sleep when you hear that all hours of the night. A nice clean place to stop. Very quiet location right off Interstate 15. Many fast food and chain restaurants within walking distance. Lots of free parking. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Being a Coke drinker I was dismayed when I I wasn't offered my complimentary coke upon check in, then I saw a Pepsi machine on the first floor . Luckily our room was on the 2nd floor where a Coke machine was located, some redemption there. Still some Covid protocols in place. No pens or paper in the room and all breakfast items were prepackaged I'd stay again. read more

Not very happy at this property. First of all I've been a Diamond member for awhile now. When I checked in they never mentioned a word about it. When I went to my room it was very outdated. And had no refrigerator. This is the first Hilton property with no refrigerator. I had very important items that needed to stay cold. Second the 1970 water pick shower head was horrible. So it was very unenjoyable. They need to modernize this and spend some money. I come to UT monthly and will be staying at the BW plus like I used to. read more

Sadly, this Hampton Inn is not up to the standards of Hampton Inns. I only stayed for a night, and I'm glad it was only a night. It was super easy to locate off the freeway, and I was glad that there were a bunch of restaurants nearby. I did the mobile check-in, so I just had to grab my key at the front desk. The room is very OLD. There have been no forced upgrades yet. They have added the new logos and sayings on a few things, but nothing else. The bathroom needs to be redone first. I ended up wearing flip flops in the shower. There was no standard of how guests should act. The staff were not controlling loud guests at 12am. After I called the front desk, they were able to get a handle on the situation. Breakfast was good, but the eating space was crowded. If I'm ever in the area, again, I hope to stop in and maybe see the place upgraded. read more

One of worst Hampton's I've stayed at. We checked in super late at night so then online check in is great so we only have to take a minute to get keys hence the 2 stars. We slept only for a few hours as we were getting up early to hike but will def not stay here again at least not until it's renovated. The rooms are dinky and paired with bulky furniture. Feng shui's worst nightmare of a room. Everything was just old including the bathroom, the stand up shower with the ugly frosted doors. Property needs work, I know a lot about the hotel business and I'm surprised they haven't forced this franchise hotel to upgrade. read more

Stayed overnight at this Hampton Inn which is in desperate need of upgrades. It's older and it shows. We had 2 queen beds which not comfortable. We were awakened by someone stomping all around the room directly upstairs at 12:30 am! The night staff did speak to the guest however the stomping continued and then we could hear loud talking! We asked for another room which the night person staff helped us move. He was very helpful and said would credit our room $30. Well after checkout the manager said a $15 credit was limit and I asked for him to contact evening staff person. Ultimately he gave me a credit of $20. I travel a-lot and stay at Hilton properties because they are usually reliable. I didn't check the reviews but next time I will and I won't stay at this Hampton Inn in the future. read more

I just spent one night and this hotel is nothing like other Hampton Inn's. This was not worth the price they charge at all. The hotel seemed very out dated. Hallway ceiling plaster was falling off and wall paper as well. My bathroom had mold on the ceiling walls and down the door frame. The shower was disgusting. The bed comfort was Ok. I stay here about once a month traveling for business. I've had rooms with two queen beds, one queen bed, and the king suite. Each room has been very nice; the bedding is clean and there are fresh towels in the laundry room. I've stayed at several other hotels around Cedar City and this is the one I'll keep coming back to. The staff are friendly, the complimentary breakfast and internet are great, and there's plenty of channels on TV if you're interested in that sort of thing. The pool is nice and clean, although I've only had time to use it once. The exercise room is on the small side, but there are several treadmills, elliptical machines, etc to allow several people to exercise at the same time. The location of the Hampton Inn in cedar city might be its best quality. It's a short walk to several restaurants including Chili's, a Japanese steakhouse, several fast food chain restaurants, a smoothie/sandwich shop, a large gym, Walmart, Applebee's, Walgreens, and a few gas/convenience stores. It is about a 2 minute drive to the new Cedar City Temple which might be helpful to some people. I've stayed here in the winter, spring, summer and autumn, and I've never been disappointed. It's been crowded a few times when there's conventions in town; but never to the point where it is annoying. read more

I've stayed at a handful of Hamptons. Our bed was too soft, the air in the room was hard to regulate and the pillows were worn out. The TV wouldn't work either. I found it interesting since I've stay at Hampton hotels and have never had any issues. The breakfast area is right in front of the reception desk and the receptionist and manager were yapping away non-stop early in the morning while the TV was going. We raised the volume up on the TV, but it didn't matter. Their voices got higher and higher. Between listening to Trump and the receptionist's life story, we were done. Breakfast was very nice as usual. Love their coffee. read more
