Aaron goes above and beyond to be accommodating with times and setup. He has even been known to let parties arrive up to a week early to set up, just to alleviate their stress on the day of their wedding. The venue is always very clean and professional. There are multiple comfortable spaces for families to get ready and relax before the event. The outdoor lawn for ceremonies is always pristine and very beautifully decorated. His custom arch for the ceremony backdrop is incredible. I've seen people in other reviews saying don't bring your children. Aaron is a super nice guy, but he takes care of his venue and expects parents to do their job by not letting their kids touch things they aren't supposed to or break things. If you're willing to watch your own kids, you'll have a great experience here.

The onsite owners are very attentive and adaptable to your needs from set up, decorating, and hosting throughout your event as needed. The location also features both bride and groom rooms, warming kitchen, patio, good sound system, air conditioning, and chairs and tables that provided a nice place to eat and enjoy the event. I highly recommend this location for any event! I know it was a special place for my family to enjoy my niece's wedding. Thank you all!

The place is all uneven dirt with potholes. There is junk laying around everywhere. The park smelled like a sewer. To say it was run down, is an understatement. There are three levels in the home with LOTS of stairs inside and outside. No elevator and little help with suitcases. Most members of our group are in their 70's with some in their 80's. They chose this location because it is within walking distance to the plays on campus and several restaurants. There is street parking in front and a large parking lot with a garden in the back. Each room has a "theme" that is over decorated. We had to move objects and furniture to have space to move around. We were nervous about breaking things. So dusty!! Many of us got sick. Their breakfast usually included fresh fruit, a cooked egg item (quiche or casserole), sausage or bacon, juices, toast, sweet roll or bread, etc. Inside they have one large, one medium, and one small table. There are several tables outside on the front porch. Our room had garbage baskets emptied and towels replaced almost every day. The owners are around only until 5:00. The basement level has four private bedrooms/bathrooms with a common area (kitchen/table/couches) and easy access to the parking lot. The middle level requires steep stairs to three or four private bedrooms/bathrooms and a galley kitchen. The upstairs level with yet more steep stairs to access has a large suite with two large beds and one single bed in one room. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower then a jetted tub in the middle of the main room! Awkward. I prefer to rent a large home just for our group or to stay in six or more hotel rooms instead of sharing space with ten strangers.

When I arrived, there was self check in, but I could not for the life of me, find my cabin. They are not as well marked as they should be on the outside. I drove at least 3x around the property before going inside. The one person receptionist was on the phone and didn't address me for about 10 min as someone was complaining on the phone about a prior visit. I just really wanted to get to my room, so interjected and asked for a map. The room Itself was cute. Two stories, kitchen with items needed to enjoy your stay, cozy bed, wood burning fireplace, bath. The TV volume was stuck on one volume and so we could not use the TV. The walls are paper thin. We were playing cards at 10:30 pm one night with me and my 6 year old, no tv, nothing and pretty quiet and someone next to us started banging on the wall to be quiet. Another night, the people on the opposite wall had at least 6-7 people partying all night. I mean it is what it is. But don't expect quiet. These cabins are wall to wall and that was a huge turn off for me. Another night the same lady I presume that was banging on the wall the first night actually came to my door and told me she needed to wake up super early and could hear us talking. I was nice about it, but wtf I paid for a room and want to be able to do what I want Including talking. Not partying, having a ton of people over, blasting music, etc. Just talking! I don't know how the resort would fix this except insulation or sound machines in each bedroom. The outside area has a cute play area, some fire pits and a cute play room with some games my son enjoyed. The pool and spa was completely closed for "cleaning" which was a let down. We did eat at the restaurant twice and the same receptionist I saw at check in was our waitress. She ended up being very nice. The food was not horrible and there is not much around. On checkout, the room automatically locks right at 11am. I had been loading my car and had almost everything loaded. My son shut the door and we got locked out. I had my phone and car keys in the room. The front desk was not open so we had to walk around the property and found a cleaning person to let us in. Frustrating.

The rate was a bit higher than we expected, over $160 for the room. The room was clean, spacious, bright, and nicely designed. One thing I especially appreciated was that the floor was not carpeted. I personally prefer hard flooring, and it made the room feel cleaner and fresher. The bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries were excellent, with a pleasant scent. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all nice quality. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself felt clean, modern, and well maintained. The location is convenient for travelers, and although the hotel is close to the highway, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Traffic noise was not an issue, and we slept well. Breakfast was included. There were egg bites, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, waffles, cereal, milk, coffee, and juices. The only downside was that breakfast was very busy, and food sometimes ran out quickly, so there could be a short wait for items to be refilled. Our only real complaint was the curtains. They were not blackout curtains, so the room became quite bright as soon as the sun came up. Other than that, everything was great. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
