My review is for The Noodle House, which is part of Das Nest. Wow! Handmade noodles with obvious pride put into them. Simple menu with much care put into the food. I had the half shrimp half pork loaded noodle bowl on my first trip and the chicken salad appetizer on the second. Both excellent dishes made with love. I feel it. Stylish and comfortable ambiance with private velveteen booths, beautiful raw wood slab tables, sexy red chandelier and large Buddha statue upon entry and exit. Service had a unique presence and they were all very attentive and kind. Grateful for their amazing contribution to our community. read more

Very Friendly Service. The night we went, it was Switzerland fondue. Next week is Brazilian. The place is Super small so reservations are probably needed. A welcome addition to Cedar City dink g adding some needed variety. The food was so-so, but I'm sure it'll get better as they get more experienced. read more

This is the best restaurant in Cedar City!! Open only on Friday & Saturday 5-9pm, reservations suggested. Each week they present different Countries, with selected dishes. This week it was Aztec, culinary perfection from creme-pecan soup to tender chicken breast with a Mushroom sauce. Absolutely perfection....and, where could you enjoy Aztec recipes?? Nowhere!! You can taste the world at Da Nest from Chefs who have visited and lived in countries presented. Foodie-heaven !!! read more

Simply fabulous and in in Cedar City! Our group of five went to German night. All of dishes were delicious. They are open on Friday and Saturday 5-10 pm with a new menu each week. Four chefs (who have "day jobs" during the week) have reinvented a previously-closed "arcade cafe" into a space where they showcase a rotating international menu every Friday and Saturday evening. Reservation required, as is a sense of adventure ("Where is it? Is that the place? Really?") All four chefs checked on us and shared their vision and passion for following your dreams, no matter your age. One started culinary school at 44. Bravo, brave dream catchers! Okay. We went for the Fathers Day "tomahawk steak" and it was really good. We went the other night for the seafood and felt completely let down. So disappointed. The service was very sporadic, the meal was very "little." Come on, really? Four little (and I mean little) scallops, some done, some raw. A tablespoon at most of potatoes, 4 little cold tri colored carrots and 2 tiny patty pan squash? Ugh. The wine we ordered was a reisling and not chilled - not a good experience. You pay for everything separate....the appetizer was skimpy- the cerviche loaded with salt- 4 shrimp- meager portions again. $100 poorly spent in our opinion ( for 2 people.) Won't be going back unless they improve. read more

We've eaten there about 7 times now and it's usually a hit or miss. Portion sizes are usually decent but the recent seafood night left much to be desired. It was my husband, myself, and my parents, who had only been once before. It was disappointing. First they brought me a warm diet coke with 2 cubes of ice which melted in about 2 minutes. So I had to wait then ask for ice and a straw. The seafood appetizer towers were okay but they didn't give enough crackers for the dips. The entree (we all chose the scallop one) was $22 each and all that was on the plate were about 6 scallops, some big, some small. Then 2 teeny bite size baby squash, 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes, and 4 baby carrots. That was it! We all mostly filled up on bread. We definitely wouldn't do that again. The bill was enormous for what it was. read more

The food and service are beyond words. My wife and I have dined there five times and are yet to have a bad meal. Having lived and or worked in the countries represented by each theme they are as authentic as if you were in that country. read more

The food is superb! It was Brazilian food tonight and not one of us left with an empty stomach. We were first presented with rice, which was more than enough for 4. Next came salads with grape tomatoes. Delicious! Then the meats started to come! We were first presented with a sausage. It had so many flavors wrapped into one I finished mine before anyone else. Next was chicken! I could eat this chicken forever. I had 3 helpings of it!! It was so moist and straight perfection. We were then given beef. I wish I could remember the name of the beef we were served, but it was cooked perfectly. I don't usually get beef really pink, but this was fabulous. And then (yes, there is more) we were given pork chops. Mine was gone in two seconds, haha! It was so yummy. They also served grilled onions, zucchini and bell peppers, but I didn't have any because I don't care for those veggies. Everyone else got them and said they were amazing. If you want more of a particular item they will bring you more, but at this point we were all wishing we had worn stretchy pants, haha! We did order dessert, and I got pineapple with a truffle and my husband got the coconut mousse. Oh. My. Goodness! I thought I wouldn't have room for dessert but I ate that pineapple like I hadn't eaten in days! And the truffle!! That was the icing on the cake. Definitely will be returning for another experience. This restaurant is a great addition to Cedar and I know they will do so well. read more

My husband and I have been to Das Nest 4 times. We have left happy every time. We've eaten at nearly every restaurant in Cedar City and this is, hands down, our favorite. Perfect for date night!! We visited Das Nest on their Spain, France, Finland & Valentine's weekends. The service is second to none. We are always seated quickly, waited on promptly, checked in on by at least one chef (two tonight), and my hungry hubby is usually given extra food to try. The model is great, the food is better & the service is second to none. read more
