I've been going to Heather for over 12 years, she truly knows my hair and always makes it look amazing. I recently went to Seoul and had someone else do my hair, and it was completely ruined. I even called Heather to help translate and guide them on how to fix it, but they refused. I ended up changing my flight and went straight to Heather as soon as I landed in LAX. She fixed everything. Heather is amazing!!!! This photo is of a haircut, layers, moisturizing mask, and styling she did. I'm so obsessed with her work! She is so fun, warm, patient, and incredibly kind. She takes her time and really perfects your hair. She understands what you need and what suits your face and hair type best. I love my hair every time. She checks in to make sure it's exactly what you want and will ask a few times so you're comfortable giving feedback. I would never see anyone else for my hair cut. She's also incredibly talented with ombre and hair color. I had her do silver ombre on me years ago and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! You will feel so pampered and love the way way you leave the salon. She truly cares about making sure you leave happy.

I was in search for a new colorist since my old one moved to NorCal. Asian hair can be a challenge to cut and color so I asked my Asian gal pals who they go to for their fabulous color and they both recommended Heather. She's quick on text, so communication was a breeze. Her Instagram is filled with before and after so I could easily see samples of her work before I even sent the chair. Her website is easy to navigate to make appointments. Her prices are on the higher end, but as you can see from my own before and after, it's worth it. You'll need to make a deposit before you book an appt but she applies it to your total at the end. As for the salon itself, she's inside the Sola suites which is on the backside of the shopping center (facing 99 Ranch, she's around to the right side of the building). Her suite is clean and her assistants are nice and take her direction well. Don't forget to tip them too!

Heather cut my hair many years ago on which I based all my haircuts on following her amazing haircut. I think because I moved I ended up not seeing her for a while. Recently, someone gave me a haircut that grew out so poorly. I needed hair color correction and decided to make the drive to see Heather again, I'm so happy I did. For the last six months, my color hasn't faded as badly due to her recommendations and tips. Her haircuts are amazing because your hair grows out beautifully and that's how I can tell she has superb skill with the scissors. Most importantly besides making my hair look beautiful, she is a beautiful person inside and out and I get along really well with her.

Heather is the BEST hair stylist I've ever been to! The way she cuts and colors my hair is absolute perfection. I have really thick and straight hair, so I know my hair is extra difficult to work with. Not for Heather though! She always makes my hair look like a masterpiece. She has been cutting my hair for at least 10 years, and colors my hair for a few years as well. Everyone else who cut my hair prior to Heather always made my hair look either choppy or uneven because of how thick and straight my hair is. They could also never do layers that looked good. Heather always does layers on my hair that are movie-star quality. Her hair coloring also looks so natural that I can't even tell my hair is colored. Whenever I see other women with their chunky highlights that look obviously colored, I'm reminded how lucky I am to see Heather who always makes me look like a natural. read more

If I could give Heather more then 5 stars I totally would!!! Heather is truly one of a kind. She has an eye for color and a green thumb for hair!! (I'm superstitious, and have only met 2 people that have that special touch when it comes to cutting and hair growth) Having naturally dark hair and going blonde is a very tricky task.. no one wants brassy hair especially Heather. Omg found my hairstylist! Came in and asked for her exact hair color cause it's the perfect rose gold I've always wanted and she over delivered! She showed me how to keep it pink and not have it fade for my euro trip. I was weary from other stylists not getting the right tone with multiple sessions with breakage so i asked her to keep it as healthy as she can. I've trusted Heather with my hair for 20 years. Over the years, I've asked for short bobs, lobs, bangs, long layers...I've tried them all. Every time, perfect. She may charge slightly more but My hair always end up looking gorgeous like a celebrity! She really knows her balayage. She's funny and energetic, fun to talk to. The best part is her curls after. This was my first time getting color at this salon and I am very disappointed. I asked for natural…read morelight brown highlights and specifically told my stylist I did not want a balayage. Then when my stylist was putting the foils halfway down my hair I reminded her I did not want a balayage and wanted more natural lighter highlights just around my face. She explained what she was doing would create natural highlights throughout. I figured she's supposedly the expert. Sure enough when she removed the foils I had a balayage. Then when she tried to fix it, she made it worse as I now have striped copper lines in my hair. Not light brown, like I asked, they're copper!! Literal stripes down my head, it's quite embarrassing and I wore a hat for the rest of the day. And I'll have to continue to cover my hair until I can get it fixed elsewhere. They look worse in person than in the photos too. Soooo frustrating and especially so because when I called to make the appointment I specifically ask for someone with a lot of experience as I have not had my hair colored or highlighted in a long time and I wanted a very natural lighter highlight.

I don't think these ratings are legit. Her friends are obviously posting on here. Who says things like "she'll make you feel beautiful no matter how ugly you are" and comments about that she's straight forward- which is a nicer way of saying the stylist is rude! Heather overcharged service. For a single color and cut, the service turns out to be over 500. She uses a semi permanent hair dye, which cause the color I wanted to fade after one wash. After requesting a fix, her attitude was not pleasant, and she had no intention to work with me on fixing.
