The price quote was higher than I expected. But even with her offering to charge less with the no bleach method. I ended up doing the full grey coverage, bleach, silver tone balayage. Warning it's not a bougie salon, and the chair is not comfortable to sit in for over 5 hours. It was my first time seeing her and I wanted to see what the results were. The bleach or grey coverage does sting a bit but Kim stepped out for lost of the time the color was developing. She's very nice and considerate and did a good job not staining my skin. She spent a lot of time explaining aftercare. Freshly made up hair in the salon looks nice and I was happy with the cut. Once I got home, I was impressed at how healthy my hair felt after the bleach. But I did notice the cut is a little more shaggy. Maybe because it was cut after it was blow dried. It's been almost 2 weeks and the silver tone has washed out a bit. The coloring still looks nice and I'll use some purple shampoo and conditioner like she suggested. I feel like I might have paid more than I should have, or maybe I just expected more.

I am a true Ash Blonde!! Thank you Mikki for making me into an ice goddess. Every time I walk out from seeing Mikki, I feel like a new woman ready to take on the world! She makes me feel beautiful and brings out the best in my hair. Mikki has been doing my hair for five years now and today I was excited to see her beautiful, new studio! My hair is difficult, in terms of kicking out the brass. Mikki hates orange-brass just as much as I do and she always leaves me ashy and brass-free. Also, the vegan color line she used smells and feels amazing! There was no chemical smell to the color and zero tingling on my scalp. The color line is damage free and left my hair feeling soft and silky. I am supporter of this line and trust it as Mikki always uses the best, coming from an AVEDA background.
