Melrose Ave is a one-of-a -kind LA experience like no other. Melrose is home to artist's, pop up vendors, boutique shops, high-end sneakers, new and unique finds and also a great spot for people watching.
Heat Machine is free and open Sunday, 8am-6pm. This hidden gem is located in a parking lot across from the iconic Melrose Trading Post between the streets of Ogden Dr and Genesee Ave.
This artistic vendor space has over 30 unique vendors spaces that sell vintage clothing, custom items, hand made goods, and boutique local startups just to name a few. The prices are comparable to similar vendors on Melrose Ave.
On Sunday, the area starts to get busy after 2pm. Get there early for first looks, good finds, and less people.
At 5pm, the Melrose Trading Post closes and this area gets very busy with heavy foot traffic from across the street.
Street parking only! Melrose has paid meters. The neighborhoods are free but have parking restrictions and most have a 2hr time limit. Pay attention to the signs.
As of this review, the current cost for vendors is $50 for a 10x10 tent setup. It's the perfect spot for any small start-up business that's looking for affordable rates.
