I was scheduled for an appointment today 12/21/16 at 4:30pm at Hear USA at 19367 Victory Blvd. Suite 14, Reseda, Ca. 91335. Got into parking lot at 4:28pm. Due to heavy, heavy Christmas shoppers (located in mini mall with Ross Store, CVS and a multitude of other stores), it took me over 15 minutes to find a place to park. By the time I get into Hear USA it's now 4:45pm! I go into Hear USA to see no one. A young lady comes out the backand asks me "may I help you"? I tell her my name and let her know that I have a 4:30pm appointment but, sorry I was late due to Christmas shoppers. She states, the audiologist has gone for the day! One Big lie!!! What, I say! She tells me you're late and they close at 5:00pm. I began to tell her that with the parking, traffic and all, why would the audiologist leave so soon. I challenged the time slot and how could I be scheduled to see anyone if they close at 5:00pm. This seemed so strange. I argue my point of view and here comes the audiologist from the back room telling me she called me. She was still there! She also explained that she had to pick up her kids!!!!! I don't mind anyone picking up their kids, but, why schedule me within a 30 minute window. Who can take care a hearing aid appointment within a 30 minute window time slot? She explained about a 15 minute wait time. Oh yeah, when I got home, yes a call from Hear USA at 4:37pm! That's not 15 minutes. There was no time allowed for me to find a parking space to hustle into your place of business and be excused for my tardiness! Why should I feel sorry for your lame excuse for having to pick up your kids? This was arrogance in a way reflective of how you do business. You first, and the clients referred by Kaiser, much later. I guess if you think you're not going to get the big bucks, what's the sense in showing any courtesy towards your Kaiser referrals.
I will be sure to never come into your place of business again. This shows me first hand that this audiologist doesn't care to instruct the receptionist to call the customer when she wants to take time off to go shopping!!!! The professional courteous thing to do would have been, Hear USA call the customer to reschedule when audiologist has no time to see customers.
In other words, if you have better things to do, just let me know in advance!!!! For sure, I will not return.
