    Variety Burger

This burger is one of the best in the city. The flavor was juicy and not overly salty. Great combination of flavors. Cooked perfectly. Service was great. The waiter was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I like the layout of the restaurant. Definitely coming back.

Very cute and homey restaurant. Came in for lunch during restaurant week and the server was very patient and offered good suggestions. I tried the ribollita soup which was so comforting and delicious. We als tried the ricotta toast which was great as well. I'd recommend trying this restaurant.

Love everything about this place! The restaurant week menu is a hit and such great value - we enjoyed every dish and pretty decent wine pairing too. My favorites are the calamari salad and the chocolate mouse bar. The inside is super cozy and it's lit by candles in every corner. Would definitely come back and try their regular menu!

Hearth in the East Village is a Tuscan-American farm to table style restaurant in a cozy ambiance. We came for the last weekend of Restaurant Week for dinner. We did a mix of the prix fixe and a la carte menu. I went with the pizzeria salad, tilefish and honey panna cotta while Erik went with the pork ragu maccheroni with whipped ricotta and cherry semifreddo for dessert. We appreciated the rustic fare and cozy flavors. This makes for a perfect date in the Fall and winter months

This is the best steak I've ever had besides COTE. My friend and I shared it for $80, and it was SO worth it. Every bite was just as good as the last, no diminishing return on my satisfaction. The fries were also the best I've ever had. They were cooked in duck fat and came with garlic aioli, and they were unreal. Honestly, I would buy this whole dish again for myself. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a nice dinner out. The service was also good as the food came quickly.

Food was so good!! The whipped ricotta and brioche were amazing. I had the Ribollita soup w/jammy egg and I dream of it still. Service was great, we went in between lunch and dinner so no one was in the restaurant. The restaurant is cozy and exactly what you want when you want to get warm, have a glass of wine and some warm soup for a late lunch.

Food: outstanding! We opted for the "let us cook for you" option and every course was a delicious surprise. Burrata, salad, pork, pasta, desserts - everything was excellent. Service: our server, Connor, was so friendly, kind and helpful. He was aces. Ambience: we had such a great table by the window - the lighting was really nice and the noise level wasn't bad at all. First time at Hearth and I would totally go again. Highest recommendation ever. Thank you!

Came here for dinner with a party of 9, and we had a lovely time! The staff was very accommodating and even helped some folks check their large bags (some came from the office so they had work stuff with them). The interior is nice and cozy with dim lighting to set the mood. We actually came during restaurant week but didn't end up ordering from that menu given the reviews about small portions/it not being worth it. Thus, we ordered from the regular dinner menu and shared a bunch of dishes. The standouts for me were: - Garlic Bread: so flavorful! - Gemelli alla Norma: I am not usually an eggplant fan, but they tasted great in this dish! - Steak: Now this is pricey, but wowwww it was delicious Folks have recommended the Beef & Ricotta Meatballs, but I personally didn't think they really stood out. Now, I don't think Hearth is my new favorite Italian restaurant, but it wasn't bad! As others have said, portion size may leave more to be desired for the price. I was content with what I ate and would say this isn't a bad spot to check out for dinner!

Delicious food, great service, ambience was cozy and warm. I also had the non-alcoholic drink Monkey Fizz, it captured all the Fall flavors!

My friend and I had a 8 PM reservation and were seated quickly. It was very busy but the noise level wasn't obnoxiously loud. The inside was dark and intimate. I had a Tom Collins and she had a NA wine . It was restaurant week but we decided on the full size menu. Restaurant week was $45pp. For appetizers, we shared the Buffalo mozzarella and and market chicories. The salad was large and shareable. I was torn between the meatballs or halibut cheeks. Normally I lean towards meat over fish but I had pasta at lunch and wanted something light. Our server recommended the Halibut, it was meaty and the mushrooms with the seaweed broth had so much flavor. It was a flavor explosion. There were no leftovers. My friend had a pasta with mushrooms as she is a pescatarian. Dessert was the chocolate mousse and the Meyer lemon crostata. I felt lemons and after fish paired together. My girl friend liked my dish more but she wanted indulgence and comfort food. Our server was personable and attentive. Before taxes the bill was about $200

One of the best meals I've had in NYC. Everything was to die for. All ingredients were from the farmers market. Menu that changes daily based on the fresh produce. The atmosphere warm and cozy. Price was worth every bite. Service was great. For someone that eats a lot of a protein, the vegetarian dishes that were part of the meal were notably mind-blowing. This will be my go-to restaurant moving forward.

We've been wanting to go to Hearth ever since we heard of the restaurant started by Marco Canora who also is behind Brodo broths. They prioritize farm to table food practices. We got the anchovy crostini app, focaccia, prawns, ribeye, winter squash, and sautéed veggies. Everything was high quality and delicious. I common compliant is over salted good and I did find the potatoes over salted. The bartender and cocktails were top notch. Great low light decor and vibey. The price is steep but I'd recommend giving Hearth a try! Great service as well, very knowledgeable.

Wonderful, cozy place! Great drinks (please forgive me, I do not remember what I had) and great pork chops! Seriously, probably the best pork chops I've had... ever! The bartender was super nice as well :) 4 stars only because we were at the bar and I didn't get a "full" restaurant experience.

For my entree, I ordered the vodka rigatoni and a side of buttered broccoli. The vodka rigatoni was really good - liked the flavor and a decent size of pasta. The broccoli was really good for some reason to me. Also tried the truffle mac and cheese which was incredibly rich and tasted great. As a dessert, we had the chocolate pie which was dense, rich, and topped with a huge dollop of whipped topping. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, loud roaring 20s style with jazz playing. But after all the hype, the Michelin buzz, and the impossible reservation, I left feeling like something was missing. The chrysanthemum salad is the real deal. Buried under a mountain of parmesan with a punchy dressing, it is bright and textural and honestly the best thing we ordered. Get it without question. The crudo was also a highlight: fresh, delicate, well-balanced. My only complaint is that it was gone in about four bites. The garlic flatbread, which is supposed to be a crowd-pleaser, came out genuinely soggy in the middle. Not in a good way. The edges delivered but the center just didn't hold up. And then there's the lasagna, the dish everyone tells you to order. The pinwheel presentation is adorable and I get why it photographs so well. But ours was sausage-forward to a fault, light on cheese, and swimming in a sauce that just didn't have much to say. For the restaurant's signature dish, it felt like a letdown. Don Angie is perfectly good. It is not a bad meal. But for the effort it takes to get a table, I expected more than a few memorable moments scattered across an otherwise forgettable spread.
