I'm not sure if the kitchen staff were as excited as us, but they didn't let on that we were putting them out, even with such a late order. We did try to be accommodating- I went so far as to say "give me anything you need to get rid of." Of course, the barkeep had already taken our orders by that point & I guess that was that. Chicken fried steak for me & a brisket wrap for the hubs - we could have (& probably should have) split either & would have had plenty to eat. And not being able to get mashed or a baked potato with the hamburger because of a gluten allergy AND still paying $19.50 for a bunless hamburger was not quality service. Trying to tell us the same grease that cooks things with gluten, also cooking the fries would be hot enough to get rid of the gluten. Haha come on!
