Very friendly and professional staff and audiologist. I actually enjoyed the experience with them…read more Even though I was there to get new aids, the audiologist repaired my old ones free of charge, so now I'll have a back-up pair.

An odd experience. I was not greeted upon arrival, although there were 2 women at the front desk. I…read morewaited until one of the two acknowledged me after 3+ minutes. Strange, but ok. I was given a clip board with new patient forms to fill out. The print was tiny. I mean teeny tiny. Ridiculously so. Filled out the paperwork and turned it in to one of the women at the front desk. She said I should take a seat and the doctor would be ready for me soon. OK. I sat and waited in the dated, shabby reception area for a few minutes until the doc came from the back office area. I walked over to him when he called my name. He said "follow me" but did not introduce himself or offer a hand to shake. Odd. I followed him back through a hallway to a small room at the end of the hallway. He pointed to a door that opened to a small enclosure and handed me an old headset, which did not fit properly, and that kept slipping during the hearing test. His instructions were quick and minimal. OK. The test was performed and when finished, the doctor said "time for hearing aids". He led me to the room across the hall from the testing room which had a desk, a couple of chairs, and a computer. He typed in a few things into the computer and generated a report, which was very faint and difficult to read, while saying that he needed to change the print cartridge. OK. He then showed me, more like flashed, a small device in his hand, saying "that's a hearing aid". I asked to see it again, because I had not seen what he had displayed so briefly, and he again flashed the device quickly and put it back into his own ear. Weird. He then printed out an invoice for $3999 for a Bluetooth Starkey Evolv AI 2400Rechargeable Special. No discussion. He didn't ask if I had any questions. Strange. I said that I wasn't ready to make that decision today and he replied "well, I'll see you when you decide you want to hear better". No. Not likely.
