It was a super easy process that took roughly twenty minutes. I went from a 12 to a 2, with a 1 being the whitest. I was extremely happy with my results!! I was having so much fun chatting with the employees I completely forgot to take before and after pics, but it's definitely something I'll be doing every 6 months. I also recently gifted my husband a gift card here and his results are wonderful also!! While waiting for my cousin to finish her treatment (there's only one room and machine) I noticed Diana fixing and tinting the brows of almost every client that walked in. As a blonde with naturally fair brows, I had been toying with the idea of micro-blading for awhile now. I decided to try tinting that day as a less permanent and perhaps another longer-term option since I had never done it before. I was very happy with the tinting but more importantly with the shaping!! I have been getting my brows shaped since I was a teen and I have NEVER had them done this good!! I swore it looked like I had Botox!!! My eyes were so open and bright!! I will be heading to Diana from now on! She's a wizard! Girls, run to her!!! I couldn't have been happier with the work my family and myself had done here!

Blue Rose Esthetics offers waxing services, facials, vajacials, and skin lightening services. Kim is the owner of Blue Rose Esthetics and was very friendly and answered all my questions. She is appointment only and you can book yourself on her website. She uses hard wax and also has skincare products for sale (ingrown hair serums (Bush Balm and Fur Oil), exfoliators, and body scrubs, etc.). She also offers 3-month waxing packages. They do not need to be used within 3 months, but you can use them for your next 3 waxes. When I got home, I noticed there was about 5-10% hair left over but it was in a spot that I remembered European Wax Center staff either also missed or weren't able to get as well. Regardless, I wish I was given a heads up before I left. 4.5/5.

But I realized my chest and under arm areas have not been attended too since B.C. and I didn't want to embarrass myself. So I looked and asked around for a place to go get a quick cleanup. I normally would go to a certain business that has locations around the country. But they were booked up for the time and day I was looking for. Then someone referred me to Blue Rose and when I arrived the esthetician was very nice. I have had bad experiences with small places like this before. So I was kind of nervous and asking a lot of questions. Which she was able to answer for me and helped ease my nerves. If you ever have been waxed you know it's not painless. But if you have a good person who is experienced then they can make it as painless as possible. And that is exactly what they did for me. The best part she didn't double dip or have used sticks in the wax. Again I have been to small shops before and noticed them trying to double dipping the stick to save money. That is not hygienic nor safe for others. So I always watch for these moves. But not here and I really felt comfortable and loved the atmosphere. I am now wishing she lived in my home state because I would be a regular customer. But I guess the next time I'm flying over I will make another appointment with her.

I have my wedding coming up in October and was told to find a good spray tan. I decided my bridal shower would be a great time to test it, since I would be wearing white. From start to finish my experience at Shade was fabulous. Their website has all the information you need to know. Once I got there, I was made to feel completely comfortable (a challenge considering the circumstances!). The process was quick and you could tell Melissa takes pride in her work. I loved the attention to detail given to my tan. I would hate if you could tell I had a spray tan, and Melissa's attention to detail throughout the entire tanning process made it so my skin still has a perfect, even glow 7 days later. I was given clear instructions (and a written copy) on how to care for my tan. I loved the shade I looked at my shower - not ghostly, but also not like I had just gotten a spray tan. Go get your tan on here - you will not be disappointed!!!

This is Edmy's business, I think she does all the appointments herself, and she is clearly a very talented practitioner. I personally don't actually love having someone touching and poking at my face, but Edmy's expertise made it only modestly uncomfortable and she did a nice job of distracting me by chatting pleasantly throughout the procedure, and before and after the uncomfortable parts there were nice relaxing parts making it more tolerable. And when it was done she really did somehow get rid of the tiny bumps on my face, I didn't even know that was possible. Oh and she was very Covid-conscious and wore a mask, which is notable at this part of the pandemic because not everyone understands the pandemic is still happening. So that was much appreciated. She gave me some good skincare advice too. I'd recommend it!
