When I arrived, I was told they were out of typhoid vaccines, and their system doesn't alert them of vaccines needed until the day of the appointment. So too bad for those of us that think we have an actual reservation. During the process of trying to find out how and where I could get a yellow fever vaccine the same day, the pharmacist was avoiding speaking to me to help rectify the situation. I now have to drive 15 miles to another Walgreens. Terrible technology systems and the poor customer service I received made the matter even worse.

Just picked up an online order I placed that included two ceramic valentines items. Both had…read moreobvious imperfections. Not from transporting them, but baked into the ceramic finish. They were like that on the shelf. I'll be heading out AGAIN (in a snowstorm) to exchange them for pieces that aren't imperfect. (Not going back to THAT Walgreens, though.) It's bad enough if one item was missed but both? Instantly made me feel like they use their online ordering option to get rid of subpar merchandise, hoping we'll just accept them when we get home. SUPER annoyed and SUPER inconvenienced by this mistake that could have easily been avoided by the Walgreens employee who picked the order. Inspect items as you pick/pack them; show that you care even in the slightest about your online customers.

Unlike other chain grocery stores that surround us, The Hickory Hills Jewel makes you feel like family, the customer service is the best I have ever seen and the employees are wonderful, even the teens and young adults they hire are exceptionally professional and friendly..I have seen the same people working here that I did when I first started coming to this store in 2003, That says a LOT about a company. There were ways of handling this even if they didn't what to do the refund. This is the closest Walmart to where I live, but I may have to find another Walmart or another store to shop at.

This pharmacy is a wonderful place to fill prescriptions and get all of your other drug store…read moreitems. Personally, I do not care for the chain stores. I prefer the smaller pharmacies, because you have a better relationship with them. They deliver, also. One day I was running late and they were about to close. I called the store and explained my situation and the pharmacist said he'd wait until I got there and for me not to rush. Walgreen's or CVS would never do that and the prices are comparable, as well. They carry everything you need and will order anything that they don't have in stock. All you have to do is ask them. Give them a chance and I promise you will not be disappointed.
