They were like that on the shelf. I'll be heading out AGAIN (in a snowstorm) to exchange them for pieces that aren't imperfect. (Not going back to THAT Walgreens, though.) It's bad enough if one item was missed but both? Instantly made me feel like they use their online ordering option to get rid of subpar merchandise, hoping we'll just accept them when we get home. SUPER annoyed and SUPER inconvenienced by this mistake that could have easily been avoided by the Walgreens employee who picked the order. Inspect items as you pick/pack them; show that you care even in the slightest about your online customers.

I questioned her about using my pharmacy discount card. She stated it's applied already. I said, how when I haven't given it to you? She went on to say, the numbers are already on the printed receipt. I kept saying, how when I have not given you my prescription discount card? I asked to see the pharmacist. He didn't come to the window but told the tech to ask me to come back because he needed to take a look at the information. I agreed. That was 6/20. On 6/21 I returned... needless to say the same Arab young lady was at the window. She proceeded to ask me how she could help. I told her I was picking up. When I said my name (she remembered from the day before apparently) it triggered something. It was at that moment she kept asked me my name again with date of birth. I told her, didn't in just give you my name? She said yes but I need it again. I said for what?! She said for the pharmacist. I told her the pharmacist just left the window and did not ask me for it. You already know name. You're looking at it on the screen! She acted as if I was impersonating someone else and trying to steal their meds!!!! I felt like I was being racially profiled. Deep breath taken... I said my name again and she said can I have your date of birth? That's when i lost it... because she was looking at my whole profile damn it!!!! I said look you have a line behind me just give me my medicine!!! I asked to see the pharmacist again. Pharmacist showed up and I asked to have a prescription removed and replaced with something else. She agreed to make the changes. I thought that was it and I would get my meds with the pharmacist coming to the aide. Here's where it gets tricky... tech returns to window and asks me for my name and date of birth again!!!!! WTH ???? I repeated once more and told her I was leaving a bad review and contacting CVS corporate. Makes no sense that you're taking a new customer/patient through stupidity based off previous encounter. Back at the ranch... I went on CVS app and opened my profile to leave a message for the pharmacist and saw the ability to text notes. Text I did! I explained that I was disappointed in the techs attitude along with the game she played earlier. I also let them know I was contacting CVS via facebook. I sent the message and 2min passed. Lo and behold the pharmacy called apologizing and saying she was going to reprimand the young lady because she was rude to me and should not have done that. I don't believe she's going to do anything. She merely stated she always has a problem with her being rude. Well why is she still working here?! She basically said in so many words that she heard everything that transpired but didn't know the extent of the problem. She didn't want to intervene at the time but saw that I really was upset about my visit. Constantly apologizing for the young lady. Very unprofessional to stand by and let an employee treat a patient/customer with such disrespect with no disregard for their illness or wellbeing at. Mind you, I am 57. I feel that She should be fired! Playing in my face and not taking her job serious. When I go back I'm going to get her name and take her picture.

They remodeled it and it's great. Unlike other chain grocery stores that surround us, The Hickory Hills Jewel makes you feel like family, the customer service is the best I have ever seen and the employees are wonderful, even the teens and young adults they hire are exceptionally professional and friendly..I have seen the same people working here that I did when I first started coming to this store in 2003, That says a LOT about a company. This store does not deserve a one star rating. It's a well run wonderful store. Deserves 5 stars and a thank you. So I'll do it.
