While they didn't have what I needed that day, I could tell right away it was the kind of place I'd want to come back to. A few months later, we adopted what we think is a 1-2-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Black Lab mix, full of energy, obsessed with playing hard, and absolutely living for rolling in grass and dirt. Since she sleeps in our bed, keeping her clean is a must! That's when I discovered their amazing self-wash room and grooming services. Now we come in every other week for a nail trim and a good bath. She walks in like the Queen of the Swamp and struts out Queen of the Throw Pillows, smelling fresh, lookin' flawless, and ready to reclaim her spot on the bed. My dog doesn't have the best manners - but they see him for the big love that he is. They smile as big as he does when they see each other. They remember tiny details about his silly personality quirks. (Usually just seeing him once a year for a few days) They care for all of his needs and bring him so much joy. The first time they even texted details about his day to help us feel more comfortable leaving him at a new place. Every time he comes home from Sylvan, we can tell he misses all the friends he made at the kennel - human and other dog friends.
