I've seen this same driver multiple times driving like a complete ahole, cutting people off on the parkway, not following the speed limit, no blinkers, tailgating, honking, and flailing their arms up at people doing the speed limit. Just this morning they were behind me on a residential street (Nautilus in Barnegat) in a 35mph zone, with construction on both sides of the street AND a school bus stop honking and flailing while tailgating me because I slowed down a few mph under the speed limit for about 30 seconds considering the amount of construction workers, vehicles, school bus and young children present.

Back in 2011, we needed to transport our daughter from one medical facility to another. The company…read moreused was Alert Ambulance in Lakewood, NJ. We were not aware that our insurance did not cover this. Honestly, we were more concerned about our daughter. When we received a bill for over $2692.00, from Alert, is when we found out our insurance didn't cover facility to facility. They said we should have brought her home and had her transported from here. Our daughters' condition, by hospital orders, did not make this an option. Alert immediately served us with court papers. My husband went to court and the judge ordered that we pay $25.00 a month. He also ordered that at any time, if we were able to pay in full, we would get a 25 per cent discount. I called Alert a few years back to see if we had the same amount owed and we did. Ann asked if I was paying it in full and I said not yet. She responded that we would get a 20 per cent discount. I reminded her that it was 25 per cent. She got very perturbed and insisted it was 20. She than read the court order and saw I was correct. Last month, I called again because I wanted to make sure our figures were the same. I owed $319.00 from $2692.00. Our discount was approximately $78.00. Ann got very nasty and said I had defaulted on the payments. I was no longer eligible for the discount. I asked her when did I default because I had paid over $2300.00. She started spewing months dating back to 2011. Our first payment was November 2011 which I have a receipt for. I asked her if we had defaulted why didn't she mention this the last time I called. Her answer was I should be happy that she wasn't charging me interest. There was no mention of interest in the court order. Ann claimed that she notified the court that we defaulted. I asked her where was the paperwork because I never received any. She just kept yelling louder and saying I should be happy that she wasn't charging me interest. I told Ann that I did not have to listen to her verbal abuse and disconnected the call. Today I spoke to Judy who claimed she didn't deal with delinquent accounts but she knew everything about it. She must be a magician because she was very adamant about not having access to the account but somehow knew everything about it. Alert Ambulance is not honoring a court order. Since Alert Ambulance, part of Hackensack Meridian, is worth $5.4 billion, I would think they would have more professional people working for them. I would think that Hackensack Meridian would honor court orders. Being valued at over $5 billion I guess they need my $78.00. I was so excited that I can finally pay off this bill since we live on a fixed income since my husband suffered a line of duty injury as a NYC police officer. Shame on Hackensack Meridian. Shame on Alert Ambulance.
