The massage was painful, but dam, if felt the muscle being loosened up if that makes sense. The needle therapy was uneventful. First time ive tried it. I was a little scared, but didn't even notice it from a comfort perspective. I definitely felt one tingle a nerve as it went in. Walked out of there with some relief. Maybe 50% improvement. Woke up the next morning feeling better. A little sore in the massaged area, but definitely better from a stiff neck perspective. Definetly a place to check out.

I probably had a pinched nerve in my neck, but due to delays seeing a pain specialist through my primary care, I was trying anything. I ultimately was seeing a "western medicine" doctor and Tao to Wellness at the same time. But the timing of my pain shutting off is strongly suggestive that acupuncture played a big part in shortening the duration (which my "western medicine" pain specialist had suggested would be possible).
