I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. The staff was extremely unprofessional--they actually hung up on me during a call, which is completely unacceptable. Communication overall was poor, and instead of being helpful, I felt belittled and dismissed as a patient. There seems to be a serious lack of patient-centered care here. Delays in care were not properly explained, and no effort was made to keep me informed or supported throughout the process. Patients deserve respect, clear communication, and timely care--none of which I experienced here. I would not recommend this facility. read more

Another trip to this location with the same issues. Waited 2 hours after a scheduled appointment. All the staff had left and locked up but had my 3 minutes with the doctor. Had to call the next day to get the written paperwork for work because the office manager Rick left after he said he would stay. He seems to be confused and what a schedule means. Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen was in need of neurologist services due to a fall. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Nik will go down in my personal history as one of the worst experiences I have had with a doctor. After calling his office twice, with no return call, I made an appointment to see him. After waiting almost two hours, I was scolded, told I was at his office "too early," and when I shared why I had to make the appointment, he told aggressively asked me, "Well, what do you want? What do you want me to do?" This doctor, who could not seem to stand still to talk directly to me, offered me more medication and simply left the office with me sitting in the room! I walked out of the office, 10 minutes later, and asked if I was meant to stay or go? He pointed to another reception area to wait. I guess I was supposed to know when he walks out with no communication where to go? The medications given to me were making me more ill. I had two appointments with this doctor and after this last experience, I changed doctors. The new doctor and the manner/expertise in which she has handled my situation is vastly different in a positive way. I don't tend to write poor reviews, however, the "care" this doctor offers should come with a warning label. Consider this a warning label. The end. read more

I usually cringe when I come into this place the first reception at the first desk is so rude. For example, I seen a guy in a wheelchair come in and ask them to turn on the elevator because he had to do his physical therapy. Nobody responded in the office they kept talking amongst themselves then the reception in the first little desk right there got up and open the door didn't even tell him to follow her anything he kind of just like OK she went to the elevator turned it on and she goes there you go, like if he's some kind a little kid or a dog or something it just was so sad and she treats even her coworkers the same way she does she talk to them rudely her tone is very off it's not right to talk to somebody she talks down to you like if you're a little kid or an animal I wasn't able to get her name but she's so rude. Just be careful when you come here with her when you walk into the building it's the first desk right there on the right hand side by the door that's her desk I don't know if she's a manager or the trainer but all the girls were going to her and asking her for help and she would talk to him like if she had some kind of attitude or if they were doing something wrong and she was just so annoyed. It was just so sad it's not to come here to deal with people like that especially when you're coming to a facility to get help when you're in pain and then to have to deal with someone like that it's just so sad. read more

The employees in charge of answering calls from the front office to workers comp division are so extremely incompetent. I've called 4 times in 1 day to try to schedule an appointment, with one time being hung up on. The woman Cindy, who I reached at the workers comp department told me she was so backed up she would not contact the workers comp authorization company to clarify which body part the authorization was for and that I would have to. It's your job. Makes me nervous to see what kind of care I receive. read more

This place is horrible. They give you an appointment and they won't see until hours later. You might be in extreme pain, but they will give you Anaproxen for the pain. My appointment was for 2:45 pm. I showed up around 2:30 pm and wasn't put into a room until 3:30... By 4:45 pm I was about to walk out because the doctor had yet to come see me. Needless to say, I was finally seen by a doctor by 5:00pm and was done by 5:30pm. No explanation as to why the process took too long or anything. It took 2.5 hours of waiting time to be seen by a doctor and another 20 minutes waiting to be discharged. So, in all, I spend only about 10 minutes with the doctor. Unacceptable, period. They might have a brand new facility, but their customer service is horrible now. The office manager was nowhere to be seen. Terrible terrible place. read more

I'm very sorry, my first review was inaccurate. My wife typed it and got mixed up with another Healthcare Provider that I'm seeing. Healthpointe is very unprofessional. The employees at the front desk are constantly changing and need to be retrained! My last visit was the last straw I've tried my best to give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough! I waited close to 2 hours at my last appointment. Yes in pain! The front desk clerk was rude and no help. She let 2 others go see Dr Katz before me and there appointment was for 1pm mine was for 11:30am I'm presently still waiting to see a Spine Surgeon and I've been approved by my Insurance provider 3 months ago. Meanwhile I'm still in pain! I was approved for both Knees for injection in December and didn't receive the injections until July, my knees still hurt! Accupuncture I was talked into it'd, but it didn't help! Dr Perez had an attitude from the first time I met with her. I was approved for Hand, Neck and Wrist treatment 3months ago only seen her 3 weeks ago. I really took all I could take. Nothing seems to go right with my Healthcare with Healthpointe in control of it. At this point my Back, Knees, Hands, Wrist pain has transfered to other parts of my body. I'm tired of all of this medicine and fighting with them. My hands are hurting while typing this but I just have to make this review to warn others of what type of care you will get there. Horrible service.....Drove two hours (over 40 miles), had to call out of work and had to wait three months for an appointment to get there to find out the doctor was not there. I told the front staff that I wanted to speak to a manager and they said "he is not coming for an hour" with complete attitude. The front staff is rude especially the girl with the fake blond hair ( I point this out only because she is the one that primarily gave a bad negative attitude). The manager told me he and the front staff were calling patients last night and during the day but then the front staff told me that "it is the call centers responsibility to call the patients if the doctor isn't going to come." I wish I could give them a zero if you have to go make sure you call before hand because the doctor may not or will not be there. read more

I have to wait for more than an hour even if I already completed all the necessary documents in advance. Had it not for my attorney that advised me to see this Dr. since I am dealing for the first time a Workman's comp case I would not have gone with it. MY TWEETS say it all. I arrived at 2:53pm and PREPARED to stay for hours on end (that's usually how walk in and even APPOINTMENTS are at any urgent care, ALONG with all the negative reviews I read on yelp) but I was LITERALLY IN & out. I waited in the lobby, was called in to have my vitals taken, my urine sample for my pre-employment drug screen done, AND my physical ALL DONE.. within HALF an hour.. I left the clinic LITERALLY shook at how speedy & friendly the service was. I MAY have gotten lucky because I did see other patients who looked like they had been there for quite some time STILL waiting in the lobby, but I don't know the circumstances of why they were at the clinic.. & this tweet is about my visit ‍.. and it definitely was a great one. This is the worst experience I've had with a urgent care. The worst part is I'm a work comp patient so I have no say so in where I'm seen. The appointment times they give you here are a joke. I come in 15 mins early for my appointment and still do not get seen for at least an hour. Once your moved to an exam room it another waiting game. You wait here for hours for the doc to see you 5 mins. The girls that work the front desk always seem to be in a bad mood. You will definently not get a smile out of anyone here. The doctors are ancient and have absolutely no interest in any of your complaints. You get PT and sent to the psychologist whether you need it or not since those are the servcies they provide in their office. The only thing is that I had a little trouble following what they were showing me to do, and whenever I came in I was expected to get started on my exercises on my own. Dr.Shenck is a ver caring dr. Very good listener and when times allows great sense of humor. In my case it helps a lot because by making me laugh I understand that small laughter increases endorphins in the brain that helps with chronic pain, anxiety and depression. I've been a patient here for almost a year through worker's comp and I have submitted my EDD form since April 27, 2023 and told me they will call me in 10 days. Until now, my form still not done because according to Wendy, she leaves by the time my attending doctor comes (Dr Etemad). So what do you do then? I called so many times and even told her that I could just go and let my doctor sign my EDD. Guess what? She said that she's the only one who takes care of EDD. I thought it would be easy because my doctor assure me that he would help me with my EDD form but these people here don't care. If I could give them a negative for rating, I would. read more

After a workplace accident I have been working with various Doctors here at Healthpointe for more than a year. Other than the wait time (hence 4 stars) I love Dr. Nick!! Between he and his amazing assistant I know I am in good hands. Despite being torn between 50 patients in a single day he always takes the time to check in with me and make sure I have what I need. His assistant always goes the extra mile to help resolve issues before I see Dr Nick so our appointments can be more efficient. Thanks to Dr. Nick and his assistant. There is a lot of hate for the front desk here. I have always found them to be lovely and helpful as long as you respect that their job is a lot more involved than catering to people in the lobby. Yes the wait times are horrible and could be so much more efficient. Healthpointe QUIT spreading your doctors so thin you are running them ragged and these are good doctors and people who want to help!!! read more

Unfortunately they screwed my mom over. She lost her insurance and was able to get a new one. Brought in her new insurance and according them they ran the eligibility and was able to be seen. They also collected all the copays. They later on hit her with a 500 dollar bill. Called the main office and said sorry her fault she has to pay. Be careful when you go to this office, I wouldn't trust their word on the insurance. Call prior and get a verbal confirmation that they are contracted and you don't need an auth read more

Terrible service been here over two hours, they hand you a book of paperwork to fill out for no reason and all you do is move you to one room then I ask you the questions on the paperwork that they have you fill out and it's not as full or crowded.
