What Brian and Kasia specialize in is not a conventional couples massage where two people are lying down on massage tables next to each other. It is a spiritual, emotional experience where you and your partner's bodies are intertwined and moving in sync like a beautiful dance. After a quick intro, we started out on the floor, facing each other in an embrace. Brian and Kasia massaged our backs, necks, and arms while melding the bodies toward each other and at times releasing and pulling away. It was wonderful to just go with it and be in the moment. For the second half, we were lying down with our legs still connected. Not only were were being massaged as individuals, we also moved as one unit. If you have many knots and your main goal to is to get them out, this may not be the best option. It's a very spiritual massage that will help you connect or reconnect with your partner. Brian and his partner Athena worked together seamlessly to provide an amazing experience for both of us. Brian was very warm and professional when I booked the appointment, and gave us great directions to his loft, which was easy to find and had easy street parking. The loft is decorated in a modern Asian style with red velvet fabrics on the walls and altar boxes with statues. The pool is inside too, which gives the place a cozy feel. Brian had made it clear in advance that we were welcome to wear swimsuits during the water part and underwear for the "on land" part if we would be more comfortable that way, but we are used to being nude, so we chose to not wear clothes during the session which felt natural and very comfortable throughout. The first part of the massage, we were floated in the warm pool, Harbin Watsu-style, which I *LOVE*. (If you have never had a Watsu, then you should have one immediately.) At the end, Brian, who was floating me, gently floated me into my lover's arms, where he and I were left to reconnect and rejoice in each other for a few quiet moments. Then we toweled off and proceeded to a cushy, velvet-covered mat where we were arranged into a position embracing each other for the rest of the massage. I felt my heart open as my muscles relaxed, and I felt so grateful for Brian and Athena and what they were creating for us, and for my love and all he is to me. Ahhhh.... We took a shower afterwards, which we needed, since they used oil on us for the last part, and then went back out into the bright sunshine of the world. The only drawback about this experience was that I had things planned for the rest of the day that required the use of my brain, but I was so relaxed that all I wanted to do was lie around! We got the combination massage (30 minutes foot/30 minutes body), and my experience was positive. Pressure wasn't consistent during the entire treatment, but for the most part it was on the deeper side and effective. The first half focused mainly on the back, plus neck, shoulders, and arms, as well as a bit of the legs. The second half, my masseur asked me to "turn over" as he left the room briefly. He meant not only to flip over to lie on my back but also to change positions so that my head would be at the foot of the bed. From there, he did a very detailed job on my legs, feet, and each individual toe, borderline painful but overall good. We paid upfront before our services, including a credit card fee (2.50 per massage). Afterward, we gave a cash tip. They have a sign at the front asking for $20 (with very friendly language), which is the typical amount we tip anyway. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, so I have no complaints.

He was unable to apply much pressure, making the massage ineffective and uncomfortable. I paid for a full-body massage, but only the back side of my body was massaged. The front was completely skipped. When I asked why, I was told the therapist wasn't sure whether it would be appropriate. That explanation made no sense to me, especially since I had already agreed to having a male therapist. If you're advertising a full-body massage, customers should receive a full-body massage. What made the experience even worse was how my friend was treated. After her service was finished, she was told to wait outside in the cold while I was still receiving mine. The area is not the safest, and I found it incredibly unprofessional to ask a paying customer to stand outside and wait. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing massage experiences I've had. Poor service, poor communication, and not the service that was advertised. I will not be returning.
