Sharon gave me the best massage of my life (everyone else is a distant second). She arrived to my hotel exactly on time and discussed my issue with me beforehand. I love how she said that we would work together to ease my muscle pain. I had been having severe lower back and glute pain for a week (I couldn't sleep in a bed the last two nights). I had a massage 5 days earlier for it and it helped just a little- when Sharon was done with me, and now a few hours later, I am 100% pain free. She brought a heating pad, homemade essential oils, and a wealth of knowledge. We did a variety of stretches to help ease the strain on my lower back and glutes as well as my mid-back. Sharon is very kind and warm. The experience was absolutely the best massage experience I've had. A 3 Star Michelin restaurant achieves its rating because that restaurant alone is worth visiting that country for. I called Sharon on my way down to Amelia Island and booked her first appointment of 2016 - lucky me! She came to our rented condo, was on time and has the table and music set up within minutes. Before beginning the massage she asked about trouble spots, any areas that needed attention and encouraged me to let her know throughout the massage if anything was tender. She used her own essential oils - that she makes herself - and they were wonderful! I bought a bottle of the arnica oil for my no massage husband with chronic back pain . She used a mixture of techniques - reiki, cranial sacral, deep tissue. Sharon also used a type to target repetitive stress injuries on my right hand and arm. My son and I were in town for the Jax Olympic Tri sprint series and I luckily found Sharon on Yelp and decided to book us appointments. Booking was easy, Sharon came to our hotel and set up for our massages. She brought music, aromatherapy, and strong hands. Her techniques were effective and we both felt great after our massages. The price was worth it and I wish I lived closer so we could experience this more often. We will try to come back to Amelia in the future even if it is just for a massage with Sharon! My husband and I went to the Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island for a getaway over the holidays. The resort was beautiful, nicely decorated for the holidays, right on the beach, and the staff treated us like VIPs (although we aren't .) We wanted to get massages and I don't Iike the cookie-cutter massages at most resorts, so we read reviews and made an appointment for Sharon to come to our room for massages. She arrived early to set up put on some music and away we went! I should say that this was my husband's first massage but we have lived all over the country and I have had many many massages. Sharon got out her essential oils and started, asking about trouble spots and explaining what she was doing to help, at one point calling my husband in to show him a stretching technique he could use to help me.
