I have mainly seen Liz for a puncture and max for therapeutic massage they know what they are doing . I was referred to heal grow thrive by my primary doctor . I was new to acupuncture and therapeutic massage and didn't know what to expect but trusted my doctors recommendation . I had an injury from a car accident that chiropractic care could not resolve long term . They know exactly where to zero in and what's effective with their skills .The combination of acupuncture and weaving in therapeutic massage has healed my body , mind and spirit in ways that modern medicine could not touch nor chiropractic care . They have even helped my asthma that modern medicine has not even come close to healing just aiding in the symptoms. This practice accepts a variety of insurance providers which is helpful if I could afford out of pocket I'd gladly do it . I want to say that this is not at all a reflection of the excellent practitioners at the clinic. It is a reflection of the way the clinic is run. The main receptionist was rude every time I interacted with her. This included demanding a tip for the massage therapist, which I was already going to do using venmo. I feel that she takes her job stress out on clients. Due to demand, the scheduling process can be difficult. She was upset that I had called trying to figure out a schedule that worked for me. This ended in her confronting me about needing to write an email justifying why I deserved to receive services, as she felt the appointments should go to others who deserved them more. I assume she had not been given my HIPPA protected information that practitioners used to determine services. As someone who is receiving care for DV recovery, this felt extra ugly. I wrote the email, as demanded, but said that I was deeply uncomfortable being asked to do so. This resulted in the owner / manager writing me to fire me as a client. I am also left wondering if this was an attempt to be rid of OHP patients, whom the clinic cannot bill as much for. This feeling about contempt for OHP patients is based on the receptionist always talking down to me like I was stupid or a misbehaving child, the way I was watched to make sure I tipped, and my being asked to justify why I deserved appointments. First, I never do reviews to begin with. Unfortunately they were very very pushy considering insurance was fully paying everything. Sadly a front desk lady also let me know they were counting on it. I got scheduled out constantly without taking into consideration that I have other doctors. At one point the owner expressed to come in 2-3 times a week. They were not shy about letting me know that they were upset about my cancellations even though they were aware of the situation. One of the receptionist even requested a tip and told me everyone tips. I felt like utter shit because I couldn't. I have multiple conditions and a brain injury and I can't work due to these neurological problems, which is why I was there with full insurance to begin with. I will not be returning sadly. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is due to Liz and Max. They were absolutely amazing and fully understanding of my situation. Liz is a wonderful acupuncturist and just the little I talked to her she was great and easy to get along with and real. Max was funny and tries to help in anyway possible and he is pretty hilarious. They were great and I am thankful for the time I had with them. read more

I made an intake appt a month ago and they offered to cross check against my insurance. Which was great because Im grieving. The day before my scheduled appt they call to check my insurance, inform me that it's not in network and I can pay out of pocket or cancel. Meghan was nice enough to share a place which is in network which is what the stars are for. And she was apologetic . Otherwise, pretty terrible that I waited a month for this appt only to have it cancelled less than 24 hours before because the staff didn't check insurance coverage timely and I'm unable to get in anywhere else this week. To the business: do better. People are coming to your practice for a variety of reasons negative or positive, a last cancellation to me was a heavy blow for an appt I very much was looking forward to, waiting for and medically need. I am very compelled to write this review based on a year of monthly visitations to both Dr. Jami and Illeana. This office also works hand in hand with your medical providers and insurance company. They want to see you succeed in your overall health and they are willing to put the work in and advocate on your behalf. I look at my visits with Dr.Jami as monthly "check in's". She will spend the time to truly listen to what it is you need attention to. Dr. Jami takes a well rounded "whole-body" approach and will recommend different natural solutions and if those do not work she will integrate western medication. Every time I see Dr. Jami I leave with more than just a "medical visit" I leave with a thorough understanding of my health and I feel I have really done my body and mind a service. I make seeing Dr. Jami part of my monthly "upkeep" regimen and because of this investment to myself I am living a life free of depression medications and much more. Im looking forward to getting my three kids in to see Dr. Jami as well:) Ileana is also part of my monthly visits. She is an artist and as some have stated "miracle worker". I actually feel everyone in this office falls under that category. I have never had acupuncture before however, after receiving monthly visits I am a believer. I believe acupuncture to work on "another level" and with that I believe it to have helped me in all sorts of ways. Lately, I have been seeing the massage therapist-Kyleigh as well..I will truly do what this office recommends and I am a walking estimate that it works. Anyways, Kyleigh is THE BEST massage therapist I have ever had. I incorporated massage after acupuncture and have really felt a difference. She has a great calming chair side manner that helps you completely relax and receive optimal benefits from massage. I encourage everyone I know to visit this place. If your willing to do the work on yourself this place will help you achieve optimal health and success in all aspects of mind-body health and life. read more

Ileana is truly intuitive, warm and is always looking to find the solution for what ails you. I am currently doing NAET with Ileana and working on trying to improve my all around immunity. She has been incredible giving me suggestions on how to make improvements in my health. I will update again as I get further down the processes. read more

I cannot thank everyone at Heal Grow Thrive enough! I am truly blessed to have found such a great team of skilled healers. I feel so grateful for their compassion and genuine care for my well-being. I have been suffering with acute chronic pain that was causing me to really feel hopeless. I have gone through months of physical therapy, which only caused my conditions to get worse and more inflamed. Pain management therapy, muscle relaxers, and topicals helped me lessen the pain and manage symptoms. However, I always still had pain. With their expertise I was able to FINALLY feel pain free without medication. I feel hope again, and that I will be able to be my old self again. read more

Ileana the acupuncturist: she has a beautiful way of practicing her art. The whole place is like a sanctuary, a sweet-smelling (essential oils are used here!), and cocoon-like place to be. I look forward to my time with the needles in, floating out on another plane, letting them, and Ileana, do their magic. Both Ileana and Lillie, the massage therapist, are healers dedicated to their craft. Ileana has been working on an old ankle injury flareup for a few weeks and I'm happy to say that I'm about 75% optimal. This ankle started randomly dislocating itself last October, and the only thing the ortho specialist could offer was surgery. Thanks to Ileana and her electro-stim acupuncture needles, my ankle is healing up on its own without an invasive procedure. I also take my kids to her for NAET treatments for their allergies. My dairy sensitive toddler can now tolerate cheese! This is a super kid friendly practice, with a special nook just for watching movies on the iPad or doing a quiet puzzle/coloring. lleana is a miracle worker! I first went to her for pain in my left foot, that was so intense it would keep me awake at night. I had gone to 3 medical doctors, and not one of them could come up with a solution to relieve the pain. After my first acupuncture treatment with lleana the pain that had been going on for over a year was 90% gone and I was able to sleep through the night pain free! By the 2nd visit, that foot is pain free! I went to her for mosquito bites that were all over my body, after urgent care gave me 3 meds that did nothing! After one treatment with lleana, the intense pain and itchiness from the bites has subsided immensely. She truly cares about you, and I will be going to her for everything, and I highly recommend her for any type of ailment you may be experiencing! And if you are afraid of needles, no worries, you will not feel them, but feel so good during the treatment, you will not want it to end. Jami Heyting is absolutely an amazing Dr. She has an amazing personality and is so easy to become best friends with, she is professional and has helped me greatly.
