She responded immediately to my inquiries about class times, cost, etc. She was very helpful getting us into a group class (she also does private sessions). She led us through several different exercises, balancing steps and stretches. It was so relaxing and helped with aches. The equipment was great: mats/towers/benches/foam rollers/resistance balls/chairs/barrels. It was a clean and organized studio. The products she used smelled great--bonus aromatherapy! Hopefully I'll be able to attend several sessions while I'm here.

Two awesome instructors who can take my body as it is and fashion a healing and rejuvenating session. I have been doing twice weekly Pilates for about ten years with various instructors and there is no better experience than at Pilates Studio with these women.

Visiting fees at Rudy's were a bit excessive in my mind ($16 a day!) for what you get. And although the gym was next to completely dead when I was working out, the price seemed nominal compared to the peace and ability to get a good workout in made up for it. Most of the equipment/machines were not state of the art or anything fancy, but I found that there was more than enough equipment to get a good workout in. They have a standard set of dumbbells up to 105+lbs, a cable stack machine, some weight benches, a bench press, a Smith machine, and from what I could tell, a complete set of machines. Cardio seemed a bit lacking, but if it is always as quiet as I experienced, it wouldn't make sense to add on to their collection of a couple treadmills and ellipticals. Also, upstairs in their group fitness studio, they had some TRX's and a bunch of spin bikes. If the gym stayed as dead as it was when I was there, it would be a true gem. The space is pretty small and I could see how it could feel cramped extremely fast with only a handful of people. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and I'm thankful I was able to at least find a place to workout in.
